For being the worst game of the Mario and Luigi lineup, I will give it credit for GIVING US A DASH. I am playing brothership rn and the only thing I can knock is the lack of a dash.

I feel like one way Paper Jam could've been better was if they didn't put in so much backtracking and roadblocks. It was pretty freaking rough. You enter an area, you do paper toads, you go to your destination, you get stopped by an enemy or obstacle, you get over that same obstacle, then the game gives you ANOTHER one. You get past that one, and the game gives you ANOTHER thing. It was a pretty bad way of handling the play time, because you're stuck in the same area for so long. One thing I'd suggest, would be to add more areas, or put one or two obstacles that took a bit longer, as opposed to 5 in a row. That's just so draining during a playthrough

24:50 tbh they could’ve just had the fire bros ambush the goomba and burn him to death, and before dying he gives the Mario bros a special item before burning up on the spot, like a battle card or smth

Edit: idc if this makes the game darker, it’s an element of Paper Mario games so it’s actually a good thing tbh
