This may be posted now but Letterman's show ended in 2015, I think. Look it up and he is at least 10 years older now and so are these amazing women he had on back then.

They are all incredibly talented but Jodie Foster is amazingly diverse and also my #1 crush since 1972.

Never liked Dave much but his comments here about the history of Selma and how we cannot be reminded too much about our history. WOW!

My dad seemed to be a pretty big Meryl Streep fan. He died when I was still young, 17, but after my parents’ separation and divorce, I watched at least three Meryl Streep movies with him: Kramer v Kramer, Sophie’s Choice and Out of Africa. He openly admired her greatly, in awe of her mastery of foreign accents. ❤❤❤

Damn, no words to describe Helen Mirren’s charisma and bodaciousness

Jane Fonda is also exquisite 😘

I grew up with 7 sisters and ditto to what Letterman said: "That's probably good training for life." To this day I don't understand why women don't rule the world, and I don't understand why they give up so much of their power to men. As for these 4 women, great picks to represent AGENCY.

I fell in love with Meryl the first time I saw her on the Phil Donahue show.

Thank you, Helen Mirren. 100%. The whole behind the desk, sitting a foot higher than the guest, is really not cool.

Helen channeled the late great Madeline Kahn for me:
" Ate you in show business? No? Then get your feet off the stage 🤣

Jane Fonda, not just through her films and amazing activism for people and the planet has truly embraced a Soul experiencing being human., her entire life. I respect her integrity, her courage for standing up regardless of her personal safety and the depth of her truth seeking and bravery to speak, when other could; or would not. I have witnessed her life, her works in film but more importanty towards humanity. I am 70 plus now and will never meet her in person during this life cycle. But I already have in spirit. BLESS YOU 🙌

It was great that when Meryl was asked about actors being intimidated by her, she said, "She's like a big train with steam coming out, and funk! Is that the word? "Grand Funk Railroad" is what I was thinking of." That's hilarious. I love her referring to that band.
