Today we are covering one negleted car in hazzard county, Cooters Tow Truck. Cooter who is portrayed by legendary actor and former US Representative Ben Jones, who operated cooters garage.

The General Lee, the All White Cadillac, and the Jeep got most of the action. Cooters Tow truck never jumped through any barns, but it's story is just as exciting as any of the 1969 Dodge Chargers

Funny how the Chevy/GMC in a lot of scenes is a FORD. You never mentioned that.

I always wondered about Orville and Cooter's tow trucks I guess what threw me off was when Orville had it it had a Chevrolet grille with a grill guard and when Cooter had it it was a GMC grille with quad headlights

I dont know if its that...ive been up all night, but reading some of the comments has made it hit harder than usual, sensing my age and time lost that we'll never get back... i feel soooo sad right in the feels area.😢

Some of the tow trucks in the video are Fords, I wonder if those are stand in trucks that are used for a brief second in a scene, like when you see an AMC Matador doing a jump scene in place of Roscoe's Dodge Monaco squad car.

I DO know what happened in the short time when he drove a yellow n black Ford and had a wheel lift. The tow co I worked for took it to the scrapper in the mid 90s.

What about the yellow Ford wrecker Cooter used towards the end of the series.

It's ironic they had a character named Cooter on the show I only watched to get a peak at Daisy Duke's cooter.

I was an avid fan and still am of the Dukes of Hazzard and the only ford truck that the main cast drove was Uncle Jesse's. Cooter's truck was and has always been a chevy or gmc. I watched the show like clockwork every friday night and I also have a dvd set of all the seasons and episodes of the show.
