Some of the cop cars changed within a scene.

I jus saw i think Luke n daisy getting in the general Lee by using the doors at 15:18 real quick

In 72 Plymouth road runner dis have a wrap around grille bumper

They did use some 318 care for skiing on 2 wheels

71 changed body styles and no 70s was used due to the front clip was different

Ya it supposedly shows an AMC with its hood open with a mighty V8 and it’s a 6 cylinder

I've heard that the cop cars was actually retired coo cars

You left out Uncle Jesse’s pickup truck

Still cannot fathom they went thu 165 Dodge Chargers filming that show!~

Think they only had 2 caddys

There never was 71 or 72 charger's on The Dukes of Hazzard cause they didn't look any thing like the 68 or 69 most were 69 charger's and on 68 charger's they changed the grill and tail panel to 69 and some 70 charger's they changed the whole front clip and I have the complete 7 seasons on DVD and I watch them alot cause I love me some DUKES

a 70 Charger was too time consuming to backdate to a 69' (when you're making a TV show, time is money)

1968 Chargers were used as early as season 1. a bulk of the 17 that WB SOLD not auctioned to members of the Dodge Charger Registry, 9 were 1968s

NO AMCs were used as General Lees.

Daisy's car was replaced with a Jeep as AMC cut a deal with WB, one Jeep was wrecked, the remaining were DESTROYED by AMC after filming ended

Any remaining cars other than General Lee Chargers when the series ended were either reused for other productions or scrapped. Except for an Uncle Jesse truck.

Police cars were sourced from surrounding Police departments, procured at auctions for as much as $500

Chrysler budget muscle car was the superbee

Do better research that Wikipedia. That AMC General Lee stand in story is B.S!

So many wrong facts here, don't bother watching  👎
