Thanks for the conversations everyone, the good and even the bad. I am happy that we can talk about everything, and I'm even happier to engage in discourse with folks who disagree with me - but are still respectable in their communications and are eager to have a conversation about it.

We don't need to fight each other because we don't see eye to eye we are all co-existing in one game world together. Keep your comments going, Bulkhead is reading them. Season 2 is around the corner and it's exciting to wait and see what balance changes are coming for us and what new content is being delivered. See you guys there.

You and I have differing meanings for the word toxic, as it applies to online gaming.

It's crazy that a infantry kit cost more than a tank or helicopter. No wonder everybody is using helicopters.

I think a part of flying is managing all of these threats and keeping yourself alive. I really enjoy having all these hazards and having to plan my route otherwise it would be too easy to fly for free. So far all of the anti air in the game seems counterable to an extent. I think the only thing I have not actually been able to contest is when there are 3 ciws in one place so I can't take them all at once.

Died on APC and had a teammate pop out completely naked, stole all my items and got me up with my own defib, told me i was crazy and stupid for using the apc without any items gg

uninstalled it last night, it feels more like gambling your time away than anything else, and the game doesnt respect your time either. also somebody else said infantry kit costs more than helicopters and that guy is onto something too.

Outside the cheating the main issue for me is griefing.

The audio issues is something I'm surprised isn't being talked about more. If there is ANY audio from ANYTHING playing ANYWHERE on the map, footsteps will just cease to exist. I've seen maybe 2 posts of people being unhappy about the footstep audio and they were met with the "iT wOrKs fOr Me1!!!1" crowd. I can't even imagine how horrible it's going to be when they add rain... Gunshot audio feels really natural, feels like I don't even have to think about where someone is shooting from, I just know, but the footsteps being completely inaudible is inexcusable. The audio is a major turn off for me.

The game is still in Early Access so issues like these are expected and they will (hopefully) be addressed in the upcoming updates. Personally, I have had a great time with Wardogs so far, and I haven't noticed too many problems. I agree that some balancing is required, and griefing needs to be fixed too. On another note, I haven't even seen a single FAL yet, and cheaters have been very rare in my games, so I do agree that these are things that the devs need to work on but I wouldn't really call the game "toxic" as it is still very early in its development cycle. It's only been out for 2 weeks. It's ok to make a video and point out the issues but problems are expected at this stage, and this is no reason to hate on the game as a whole. What I'm saying is, if you enjoy the game and see its potential, then just wait(you don't have to play it if you don't enjoy it). We will have to wait a bit for things to get to where we want them to be but so far these devs have proven they are on the right path.

The first 4 days were so fun with all the teamplay and cooperation.

This game will fizzle out and die soon. I dont want to lose my gear to anyone after I have spent the time to gather resources for the kit I want. As long as they continue this it will keep the game too small to keep the servers up. I am detecting another WW3 situation.

I truly think helicopters are in a weird spot.  For your average pilot the amount of AA in this game seems downright unfair.  But on the highly skilled players helicopters seem nearly unstoppable. In particular I've seen certain choppers that have gone out of their way to hunt down our vehicles with very little challenge at all.  Always knowing exactly where we are without fail.

Im having a shit ton of fun with the game, however there are a FUUCCCKKKK ton of balancing changes that need to take place.
Mainly with the economy, spawn system/times, and the damage models for certain weapons.

I am excited to see how they remedy these issues in the future as it seems like the developers really do want this game to succeed.

I saw a guy steal a friendly's weapon  for the first time yesterday. And cheaters seem to either leave when they are called out or banned during the round. As to the AA all I can say is that it's a reaction to havocs, rocket and minigun helicopters. I think that up to now helicopters haven't been as big of an issue... But this comes from a casual European player. We might get the same issues soon😅

Hard agree on the prevalence of cheaters. I have 10s of thousands of hours across many different fps games and have called cheater a handful of times over those hrs. I  pride myself of knowing if someone is just better than me or if they are full of shit and ive had more unexplained deaths from people on fresh accounts in this game than literally any other game ive ever played besides maybe siege.

As someone who plays this game a lot both solo and in groups of all sizes, the solo can definitely be very soul crushing.
Some roles get pushed very hard and you absolutely need people to protect you while building or doing logi, I dunno what to do about that or if it is just a part of the game.
Maybe try doing the protection role instead of turning your attention off while building, be the player others need.

I really enjoy flying the MG and rocket helos. But it's hard to aim with the 🎮.

What I really love is spamming some AA and watching those pilots struggle.

What people dont understand, is that cheaters are like roaches. If theres a few in the open, theres many many more skulking in the shadows. This is the most cheating ive seen in any game. If one doesnt study cheats and cheaters habits, often people don't understand what cheating looks like. Theres a difference between rage hacking and then just playing casually with an esp and a light aimbot. People think if they arent raging then they arent cheating. Anyways, it affects the way people think, especially myself as a solo player. Do i push ahead, or will I lose my 20k kit to an esp kiddie? That one second of hesitation always in my mind is a detriment and shouldnt exist and always affects the gameplay experience. Last time I played there was a confirmed cheater every other game with both teams calling them out as they were banned or left later in the game. Id say half games seems fair and half have very sus individuals. This is way too many. The devs need to do something more significant.

I think most of what you say is true, except the helicopter thing I don’t seem to have that many problems when I stay low. What pisses me off is when I’m driving down the road and the enemy team has placed mines or are statued up with rockets before I can even get to the zone.

The best way for this game is for devs not to listen to anyone except them self and then the players who like the game will stay and people who don't will leave. One thing I hate is when streamers are crying and devs listen and break the game and then streamers leave and game is turned in to shot
