"Your skin is purple & your still too white for that" -Wambu 2022

“I named my first Totodile ‘Butter’.”
And thus Wambu ushered in a new wave of Totodiles named Butter.

I am living for the friendship Wambu and Ari have.

Yay, it’s the Wamboi! But in all seriousness (ironic), you guys have excellent comedic chemistry. Though I am a bit sad that my favorite Performapal Popplio is only in C tier (I fell in love with it the moment it stood up on its tail), this was a great video as always.

Wambu bounces off of everyone so well. I just can't. "Suck it bitch I'm already dead" my heart

I don't know why I didn't expect the Wamboi.  He's always where you least expect him.

Personal fave is Rowlet line.  Love the ghost sniper.

The two of you have peak levels of "good friend I shit on with" energy. Love it, please do more Pokemon collabs, I was laughing all the way through this

I relate on a spiritual level when Ari “randomly” shouted David Tennant. He too was my first Doctor.
Also my favorite Starters are Mudkip and Fennekin.

Fun fact! Sobble’s whole thing about starting out sad and shy, then turning goth, and then becoming a spy actually fits! It’s believed that growing up shy or timid is great for spy work, since you understand how people hide their thoughts and feelings because you used to do so yourself! He literally turns his embarrassing toddler days into sniping super spy skills! Add that to the list of why Sobble is my favorite gen 8 starter!

Seeing Snivy in C tier really hurts my heart cause it's my first starter and my hardest hitter in the team, legit carried my whole team with a Victini in it no less, I will stand my regal queen for life (yes she was a female I got lucky)

Okay in all seriousness, there is a good reason for Emboar's typing. He's supposed to reference Xu Baji from journey to the west. The friend and partner of Sun Wukong. So yeah he has a reason to be fire fighting. That is why the 2 have some stylistic similarities.

I have a soft spot for the Tepig line for one reason: Emboar immediately reminded me of Ganon from the Zelda series. That's it. No other reason to pick the other two lol

I actually really like the Tepig line (still least favorite gen 5 starter though), but I think it would’ve been better if we got a fire/dark warthog final form. Like Dark Beast Ganon from Twilight Princess but smaller. That would’ve been awesome

Ahhhhhh! It's a Pokemon starter tier list this time. Quite a big selection to choose and for the most part they're pretty good throughout the games. Though I'm most curious to see which ones top the best in your eyes Ari.

Froakie has been my mom's favorite since she laid eyes on it. This is mainly because it's a frog and she is absolutely OBSESSED with frogs but it's also because she has an affinity for looking at characters and seeing their true potential (see her reaction to Neville Longbottom being a Gryffindor).
I generally prefer the Water Starters but this is because I have always had an affinity for water in general and I generally just like the Starters in general...just not necessarily evolved.

Oh, and as someone who enjoys using Emboar... It's time I impart knowledge about its design: It's based on another character from Journey to the West. If Infernape is Sun Wukong, Emboar is Zhu Bajie, a pig demon that became an ally of Wukong and the monk Sanzhang, and wields a rake as a weapon. So, instead of calling Emboar solely a "Bacon on fire" or "just a pig on fire" ... Research its origins first.

I actually really love the Popplio line. The poor thing got so much hate when the games were announced, and I just placed it in my arms.

Ok Wambu and Ari is a collab I didn’t know I needed, but now that I have it, I love it, this is friking glorious 🤣

I needed this. The interactions were comedy gold that had me rolling on the floor laughing. 2020 and 2021 have had me in a depression and all I can say is thank your for giving me this piece of happiness.

I love Sobble. It's cute and needs to be kept safe. Then it evolves and looks like a Shark Take reject.
