A lot of us are descended from the UK, so Scottish heritage is strong.

Thanks Joel. You have stumbled across Australia’s pride and joy. A good bloke who just happens to have a phenomenal voice.

Thanks for your enthusiastic reaction to John. You can pick any song from this concert and be guaranteed 100% satisfaction. He delivers every single time. John is my pick-me-up every day. ❤

Love your appreciation of John- especially his mic stand tricks! Great job❤

And THAT is why he was playing with the mic stand

Many supermarkets in Australia play music and You're the Voice is always on the playlist. Every second person will sing along with it unconsciously. The song is part of the Aussie psyche.

His “adjustment” was tightening it so it wouldn’t fall apart when he threw it. 😂💕

I agree - next should be the AC/DC cover - It's a Long Way to the Top, from the same concert

John is the goat. Who else could throw a mic stand meters into the air, catch it on the way down and then launch it across the stage while still performing, only John.

John changed the key of the whole song just to accommodate the limited range of the bagpipes as he wanted to include them for a military march feel rallying up the people to have a voice to cause change. Yes, Australia has bagpipes...we are a Commonwealth country with strong connections to the UK.

John is and will forever be the best, greatest singer and entertainer ever. Love him so much and so so funny.

Good man for changing your pronunciation of Melbourne!❤👍👌

Fantastic reaction to the G.O.A.T. The reason why John is the G.O.A.T is not just his vocal agility and perfect pitch, but his ability to sing any genre, make any song his own, his charisma, love for performing, love for his audience and the pure joy, love and emotion he brings to all of us.He is also a comedian and is so funny. John still holds the record for the most live concerts and attendees for an Aussie. The only artist who has more is Pink 🩷 John would perform like this night after night and I believe he did this one in particular in Melbourne 9 nights in a row. Happy you saw the mic stand toss. He always played with his mic and mic stand and never missed a note. His musicianship is second to none. Love our John.
Thank you for a great reaction ❤😂🎉

Omg I really love your reaction to one of our best ever singers. Thank you for your enthusiasm. Keep up the John rabbit hole. Luv from Australia ❤️🎼❤️🎼❤️🎼

Heartbreakingly cruel that illness has robbed this amazing Aussie of that voice!  I could listen to him sing and watch him perform any day.

I love it that you can't help but play along at around 4.50. you literally seem to not be able to contain yourself to just watching 😂. Shows your passion for music it is so beautiful!

His music is inspiring makes you happy and you can’t stop smiling

That Mic stand toss & catch > I guarantee it was practiced, that's the serious showman John is!

I really enjoyed your reaction, welcome to the John Farnham rabbit hole. You won’t find a bad performance especially live. John’s performance range from good, great awesome, from the same concert check out his ac/dc version of it’s a long way to the top. And for to show how versatile he is. His duet with Oliver newton john , “please don’t ask me. “ , with jimmy Barnes “something wrong with my baby” Stevie wonder , “imagine” and for something completely different, “Gethsemane”  from the live opera , Jesus’s Christ superstar. Or check out the a cappella version of Steve wonder , “loves in need “ he also did a live version of Led Zeppelin “ black dog” it was a sound check/ warm up for a concert, his sound engineer decided to flick the record switch, unfortunately no video but like the others I have suggested it’s awesome. And there are many many more fantastic performances on his catalog. Have fun

Hes been very ill over the last couple of years. I would love to hear him perform just one more time. Hes has been around my whole life.
