Left the UK decades ago. Best decision we ever made. It's sadly now a collapsing country that, in the next couple of decades, will be an Islamist state if Reform or Restore isn't elected into power. And yep, freedom doesn't exist in the UK anymore -- freedom of speech has been eroded, freedom of thought, let alone freedom to relax when you want to no longer exists.  I lived in Thailand for many years and visited Cambodia often. They're both fabulous countries, and the Cambodians and Thais are lovely people. And yep, I'll be retiring to Thailand in the next few years. Can't imagine living anywhere else for the rest of my life. New subscriber as well.

We are all in control of our lives...you chose to be proactive and make the best life possible for you and uour family.  I plan on living in Cambodia 3-6 months each yr starting next Summer from the US. You seem genuine, and honest.  I left UK in 2007, and have lived in USA for 19 years, where I own a small business.  I visit Cambodia every year, and it is my retirement destination.

:hand-orange-covering-eyes:   Don't blame you one bit young man !    ( :trophy-yellow-smiling: )    You hit the JACKPOT by finding Siem Reap !!    A GEM of a city and all it has to offer + the people are awesome ?    - - -    I'm old and been in the US all my life and it must be 75% cheaper over there for me ?    When the average rent costs 25% more than the entire monthly budget.....   (( ? ))   - - -    We got a real 💩 show going on over here these days !!!

Nice honest video, well done. I'm from UK and have spent the last 24 years in South Africa. Both kids grown up now, so time for a new challenge. My wife and I arrive in Siem Reap 30th September to start the next chapter!

we are thinking about it. Arizona is running out of water. they have drones flying over looking to see if you have a water leak and they can fine you, they want us to remove any green grass and replace it with gravel or concrete.
