Your sensitivity is admirable, as is your desire to learn and to break out of the bubble in which Americans are raised....  💕

Thanks, una arquitecta desde Barcelona ❤

Your enthusiasm is  so refreshing. So happy you are encouraging people to to learn as you learn yourself.

Barcelona huele a mar y a montaña.  Huele a multiculturalidad, a modernismo de Gaudí... , a barrio, mercados y plazas... Huele a infancia, porque es donde nací. ❤

16:06 Flamenco isn't typical of Barcelona. You can find it, but it's like finding an Italian restaurant in the United States.

Great video, it's nice to see how much you liked Barcelona´s architecture. Greetings from Spain.

Barcelonés here. I always get pissed at these videos (not you, Strac, I mean the touristy videos). Barcelona is way more than that. I live in a neighborhood in the north side, sitting at the feet of the mountains of Collserola, where you can even enjoy the charm of a small village, where all neighbours know each other. There's so much to see here, and if you ever want to come and visit, I'll be pleased to show you around, not only the tourist traps

I'm Italian and I moved to Barcelona in 2001. The best decision I've ever taken

Hi, I'm writing to you from Barcelona. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the castells, or human towers—they're a Catalan tradition. Here are two links (you're going to be blown away).
The first one explains the history, and the second shows one of the most spectacular castells built this past weekend during the annual competition.

Strac, I am extremely proud that you are willing to expand your mind by learning more about the world. You are one of only a handful of Americans who are realising that America is not the centre of the universe. That the modern world didn't start in America. And more importantly, you WANT to learn more about the world and its origins. Thank you for sharing your learning space. Cheers

Good day and cheers from Australia we watch your channel all the time😊

Barcelona is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the most fun for young adults.  I have travelled to many but this is gorgeous especially La Sagrada Familia. I saw so many cathedrals but this blew my mind. I am Australian

Lithuania here. Love your open minded open to learn new stuff attitude. Keep learning bro. Sometimes you interrupt a bit too much but it’s all good

Felicidades.

This is my first time on your channel, and I'm living in Barcelona's rival city: Madrid. Even though I'm from the northwest side of Spain called Galicia. I speak Castillian (Spanish) and Galician.

The executed prisioners were under Franco, not exactly ancient history.
