Thanks for watching!! 😃

For those that are extra vigilant...  some items were from the 90's and some the 70's but the majority from the 80's. I generate £0 in revenue from these videos so 80% of the items here were very kindly lent to me by family and anything else was as good as I could get on a shoestring budget. Same for anything I said that maybe be factually incorrect!

To properly live in the 80s you need stuff from 50s-70s,nobody lives entirely in the current day.

You gotta admit, this would be a dream for some of us 😂 - Great video Agile!

I'd be more than happy to go back and stay there. lol Loved the 80's and miss them. Best music, best movies, best cars and the best times.

If you weren't born and raised in the 1980s, you'll never quite understand it. Kids today can't possibly get it, but we who lived and breathed that time would do anything to go back. Yes, obviously the tech was inferior, but the spirit of the age was unlike anything I've ever felt. It was the only decade where I really, really felt sincerely happy to my fullest extent. If I had a time machine, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Yep the 80s was the last vestage of life pre internet. Where u actually had to socialise and had not much to do but play sports and spend time with family and friends. Proud to be an 80s kid

My parents can relate 😂 They would get really nostalgic. My dad can never stop talking about how good food used to be and when going to uni was free and fun.

I was 15 yrs old in 1982...my time, my era...my world...! I miss it so much...thx for the time travel...!

This needs part 2, next time with proper 80s car as well, you robbed yourself of that experience.

Were people less connected in the 80's... The answer is somehow shocking, and it is 'no.'.   We didn't have smart phones back then.  You would actually interact with people around you, and actually have conversations.  You could go on a date, and make eye contact.  People were unique back then, and not some product of an algorithm.

There was colourTV in the 80's

In the '80s all McDonald's packaging was made of styrofoam or polystyrene.

I survived 8 and a half years in the 1980's. That's like 70 000 hours, lol. Cool vid, bro. I collect retro items

The camcorder, VCR, mobile phone and stereo were all made in the 90's. Camcorders were bigger than that and so were the mobiles, the stereo is too rounded to be 80's, stereos back then were squared off. Most VCR's were either top loaders or side front loaders. None were centre loaders. Not many people really had the C64, they mostly had Spectrums, Nintendos, Sega Master System or hand me down Atari 2600's.

Extra credit for the Super Burner with Skyways and the Mallet's mallet although my Tuff Burner would wipe the floor with yours in street cred.

The trick for surviving the 1980s is that we spent a lot of time reading paper books and paper magazines and paper newspapers. This is totally alien to younger generations that increasingly moved toward multimedia until the realtime short form multimedia of today. People now even have daily targets for reading 😅 to get stimulated beyond reading paper materials, we got together with friends to talk and do stuff. Nowadays all this can be supplanted by exciting electronic media and devices and this is why young people now feel lonely and bored. They can even chat with friends around the world instantly but it is analogous to eating instant noodles. You can do it but it’s not real food or even healthy.

YOU have the most amazing, best must-see TV channel. I love it, and I share it everywhere

Mate, being an 80s child. This was brilliant to see. Like a walk down memory lane for me!

We all silently sung 1980s songs in the 1880s in disco light by a running fan in our bedrooms at night... I missed the '80s....

I've spent my whole teens in the 1980's and I remember them as the best years of my whole life while growing up, attending school and copy parties and recording the charts on tape for playback on my walkman while bike riding to school. But being alive now is also exciting and I would not want to miss this opportunity.

Forward and rewind on your walkman?!I could only dream of such luxery! Mine only had FWD, so had to turn the tape over, press forward and turn the tape back over again if I wanted to listen to a song again.. Good luck getting the to the start of the song first try!
