Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines is a 2004 action role-playing video game developed by Troika Games and published by Activision. Set in White Wolf Publishing's World of Darkness, the game is based on White Wolf's role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade and follows a human who is killed and revived as a fledgling vampire. The game depicts the fledgling's journey through early 21st-century Los Angeles to uncover the truth behind a recently discovered relic that heralds the end of all vampires. Bloodlines is considered a cult classic and many retrospectives call it the GOAT.

Fat Larry is actually the God of the World Of Darkness, he just doesn’t show his true power because he’s so gosh darn humble and just a stand up guy

Antedelivians are essentially walking apocalypses. The Ravnos ‘ante woke up in ‘99, and it took multiple solar death beams and nuclear weapons to take him out.

A beautiful game, janky as hell but a great accomplishment, considering what Troika got to work with and that they had to fight to not have to overtake Valve as the first released Source Engine game, even before Half-Life² would have come out. Publisher Meddling is such a common thread in games that never quite lived up to their potential.

Remember on my 1st playthrough as a gangrel in the Hollywood sewers. I was low on blood and humanity. As a Tzimisce monster (the giant lady one) approached me, I went into frenzy and it turned and tried to run away 😂

pisha was such a neat visual design with her glowing eyes.
But honestly.. a game that makes you a flipping vampire and still manages to make you not the worse things in the dark, does the worldbuilding right.

There is a version of the fan patch that lets you skip most of the sewer section. Same patch has an email quest for Becket that end with a boss fight and a big broadsword. My blood and guns vamp had no use for it, but it made me tempted to build a future character around it.

You left out the coolest Easter egg in the Mandarin section. The guys he sends after you with Dragonsbreath Rounds are called the Belmont Squad.
