Fun fact about myself revolving The Dark Crystal - my mother specifically named me Kira after the character in that movie

39:00 drift I thought dark crystal was a fever dream from my childhood so imagine the shock when I realized other people knew about it

The mobs in this game really are terrifying. If I had a dollar for every time I got jumpscared by a mob in this game I'd be rich 😂

I love caving, and I also love the sound of blocks breaking, which is something I hear a lot of in your videos, which when I don't feel like playing, but need some of those relaxing sounds, I come to you, I also fall asleep with one of your playlists on repeat, and that is when I get my best sleep. BTW, lush caves are considered one of the most dangerous caves, due to the fact creepers love them because they blend in with the surroundings.

39:17: Yeah I can see it. Did you know there's a Netflix series and books that were released afterwards to fill in plot holes and such? The Dark Crystal was a Jim Hensen film. The director of the film, Frank Oz is also the actor who plays Yoda in the Star Wars franchise.

You had access to bamboo almost right away cuz of the mods. You could have used scaffolding. Watching you chop those tall trees the hard way was killing me lol

I also have always really loved the lush caves. I was happy to hear someone else express that thought! They are seriously pretty places to turn into bases, what with all the glow fruits and other beautiful plants.

Did you notice the lack of trapdoor on the smaller chimney? 2:11:56

Drift I love the smp video stuff but I miss the standalone videos cozy 100days and the forever farming world 😢

This is such a lovely build, I’m so so so in love with it and I really enjoyed seeing the Terralith mod!

“National Geographic-style, Drift in the Wild” absolutely destroyed me though 💀 Your sense of humor is always so appreciated lmao

I saw Dark Crystal when I was little and I was so scared by it that I almost passed out! My mom was burning incense at the time too, so now every time I smell musty smells similar the incense I feel ill 🤣

This was my first long play and now I want more. Love listening to you while I work.

I think cobblestone and mossy cobblestone matches well with the roof texturing and combination really well as well.

these vids are so great for getting into the vibe of in-game building mechanics but you eating food when you haven't even lost a full pip constantly really gets my goat LOL
