From shes 12 to 17 I worked on my uncle's farms .He would pick me up at3:45 after I got off bus n changed my clothes take me ti the field . I would jump up on the 4020 power shift with the 5 x16 hydraulic reset plow n would get off that tractor at 12 at night . We had 2 4020 s  one standard shift one power shift n 2 5 x16 moldboard plows n we would 400 to 500 acted in Pennsylvania ground every year . The standard shift tractor would plow in 4 gear alot of the time while other 4020 barely could pull in 3 gear .Round we would go n the standard dhuft tractor would catch up to me in 5 . Great memories  as a young man growing up on the farms .rounds

It doesn’t get much better than a 4020. That’s some good looking dirt too !

Spent many a day in my teens doing the same thing on a 4020 Powers Shift with a 4-16 ploy. And it will do that day in and day out just purring. Awesome tractor for sure.

Back in the mid 70’s I did a lot of plowing with a 4020 power shift with a Deere 4-18 bottom plow. Great memories!

Just imagine trading in your 2 cylinder Deere for a new gen 3010 or 4010 and plowing like this, what a dream.

That tractor will pull that plow all day long. Great tractor driven many of them.

Tach isn't working. That's one way to keep the hours down. 🤠

jd 4020 are my fav tractor of all time

Beautiful black dirt matching great with J-D green 👍

That’s music to my ears!!

I ran a 3020 power shift with a 3 bottom fully mounted when I was about 9.

Gorgeous tracker❤. It's my husband favorite tracker. My favorite is John a & b.

We had a 4020 power shift, loved that tractor

That is some of the prettiest soil I've ever seen.  Look at how dark it is.  I'm used to stuff so red you'd think you'd nicked an artery.  Good job son.

THIS TRACKER RUNS GREAT..ALOT OF POWER..THE 4020 IS A GAME CHANGER..RETIRED LARRY IN INDIANAPOLIS..

ok...I've got dirt envy

Don't have a 4020, but I have a 2510 gasser. Love that thing!

My Grandfather has a 1966 JD 4020 Diesel with the Syncro Range transmission. The tractor has 13000 hours on it and still runs like a top!

4020's in my neighborhood (SE Minnesota) pulled 5-16's. Everybody loved 'em.

A great bit of no messing plowing .This man can plough a nice straight furrow
