$250 for a cake that doesn’t taste good is honestly outrageous 😂

them both tasting bad was a twist

The ribbons on the 1 star cake was accurate if you compare it to the picture

Best thing I advise I ever heard a professional baker give was on a baking show when the contestant said as an excuse “it’s fancy, it’s for looking not taste” and he reminded her it’s ALWAYS for taste. It’s not a 5 star cake if it looks good but tastes awful. May as well just give someone a foam cake. How it looks is important but Taste is a top priority for me. Obviously, when it’s for fun I care even less about how it looks😅

100+ servings ? i will eat that cake alone in 3 days

I almost wish that the bakeries kept with the stick figure form for Taylor, but gods above those iced pictures of the cutie pets were so adorable! Very nice and happy birthday QT~!

its crazy to me how expensive cakes get but im glad these people are getting paid lol.

this is so funny 😂 I always used to say that the best cake decorators don’t usually make good tasting cake imo

I work in a bakery as a clerk and decorator. We don't have fondant or sugar paper. So if I got this prompt and photo I would have to hand  pipe all the animals and stars. We'd probably charge 180-200 based on our tier cake prices we've done in the past.

(We couldn't do the minion or Taylor due to copywrite but I would definitely do the stick figure)

Crazy that the top rated bakery in LA still delivers flavorless cake. Really shows you how much LA cares about superficiality over substance.

i really love watching qt do stuff like this, I feel like it doesn't get the hype / views it deserves but she has such an impressive way of sharing her knowledge without coming off patronizing and she's genuinely so talented at what she does!!! can't wait to see the content that comes out of the bakery!!

Is it possible your 5star cake is from an Asian bakery and that the cake was a sponge cake- which is way less sweet than an angel food cake and whipped cream with fresh fruit filling. When you’re used to cakes being so sweet, it’s a stark difference than a more traditional Asian/Chinese bakery cake that has toned down flavors

Literally the 1 star was more accurate to the picture. What nonsense is this? They absolutely nailed it. The cardboard stars would be my only complaint.

Oh wow, QT is really good at this! Hers is easily on a par with the highest tier bakerys cake. Not that I thought shed be bad or anything but this was just really impressive

I think I remember Maya doing this. I enjoyed it then, I enjoy it now.

ive been watching so much maya and alveus content and you can really tell QT and maya are  close bc they talk so similarly

Rooting for your bakery QT!

This is such a fun concept for both streaming and as a video! Unfortunately now I want cake

i cant lie the one star bows were just as good as your bows

This birthday stream was SO GOOD
Happy birthday QT✨💖
