ok but the random rhinestones on disposable stuff is so wasteful. like excuse me that's for crafts...

Imagine getting culture shock from buying potatoes at a store. What the hell lmao

1:12 alana taking any opportunity to show us her scrapbooks lmao

09:40 "this is a simulation!" and it's literally the average grocery store 😭🙏

that last girl at the end was something else 😭😭

ELITE REFRESH PULL

The real issue isn't even the trends themselves, but how micro-trends shorten our attention spans and make people feel like they constantly need to buy something new just to fit in

TRY being an influencer for a day

genuinely THANK YOU for being down to earth 😭😭. my childhood bsf fell wayyyyy down into these trends, she was a sephora 10 year old. tried to convince her this stuff is so bad for you and she's gorgeous already, but hey what do i know. These trends are sooooo bad for young girls

I can’t believe some people are this out of touch 😭

people are so shallow. even "whimsical" trends are just that. trends. used for a time until people decide they don't matter anymore, because youthfulness, fun, art, are all to them possible followers and dollar bills. that's why artists and lovers of art are necessary to the world. we remember when no one else does.

11:23 I think she heard “we didn’t get ice” and looked back at that store wondering if she could muster the strength to go back in

Thank you for calling them out like no I don’t need a 20 step SHED ROUTINE do what u want to do but they be promoting it like if we don’t we aren’t normal.
So many influencers are so out of touch it’s dystopian

The bedazzling is whimsical only when it's not a one time use and genuinely done for fun and not to look trendy

09:55 even people who didn’t grow up rich like to cosplay this kind of behavior cause they think it's "cool", it's honestly so embarrassing

I bedazzle, but not ONE FREAKING USE PRODUCTS. For reference, I bedazzled my headphones case, that took me 5 hrs (these are actual kits I bought with tweezers, glue, gems, etc.) I've made rhinestone art on canvases, bedazzled gifts for my friends, a pen I made in my tech class because it looked boring, and more. Thing random Kylie Jenner stuff is not whimsical, it's WASTEFUL. Also dw, I can confirm that the wattpad and ao3 teenage communities are alive and well!

dw there are still some 14 year olds to who read wattpad before bed

these nasty billionaires influencing influencers is an epidemic and they’re joining hands to destroy this planet one plastic trend at a time

Last girl needs a reality check 🥹

"me anytime kylie jenner does anything" so thats dangerous! 🦄
