The Typa rooms games that don’t show up when you search up “rooms fangames”

As a person who's currently working on a "humble" recreation of rooms itself, I'm gonna be honest. I haven't watched the whole video yet (silly me!), but if you do talk about Interminable Rooms... they went too wild with the entities. I felt like many rooms retakes/takes/version/games are mostly just competing for "how many entities can we cram in 1000 door sections" or something...

Imagine being an urban explorer in Roblox
you'd find a random office building, step 10 feet inside and immediately get bulldozed by Red Verity going at mach 10

Something I dislike about these fangames are that the entity designs are super repetitive. Both visual and audio. It’s very clear that they’re kind of just trying to replicate A-60. I like rooms & doors so much because they experimented with their designs and their original entities are so cool. Ambient guardian and kalypto are my favorites from that game. They also changed up the pre existing entities, like A-200 (which I am amazed how they handled it. Such a cool entity)

6:22 this is more like "a really big fricking house" hard mode than a rooms fangame (arbfh is basically spooky's jumpscare mansion but for roblox)

The issue with most (MOSSTTT) rooms games is that they are not scary and also like every entity is just run through rooms. This is the main issue. As a rooms game developer I try my best to make as little entities which are just faces running through rooms. This is why I have spore, (the thing on the ground) A-110, (a-90 but like the other way around) edited A-0a, (a fake version of the elevator room) and A-0b (which not only doesn’t actually “exist” because they’re just a built in function in lockers and fridges, but also is just a timer for staying in too long.) there’s also like 23 joke entities which just are mostly doors entities which I ended up putting way too much effort into.

It should be something like:
Minimum 5 or 6 entities per one section?
One that just rushes
Must A-60 and A-200?
Unique mechanics
Understandable mechanics
AT LEAST A NEW SECTION
So they also think that screenshake, flashing lights and screenshake is a good rooms game…

I don't know if you already played it, but you really need to try "Rooms & Doors" by CJ4. It's peak

And no, the 'Doors' part in the name isn't a reference to Doors. This fangame released before Doors, actually. Though two entities directly based on A120 and A90 were later added as references to Doors

I didn't really watch your channel, but I will still suggest playing Delusional Office, it's kinda cool

I have to say, I'm making a few rooms gamesz and here's what I'd like to say:
The 999 rebounds title is true for the BOSS ENTITIES I'm making. You have to get out of hiding during their rebounds and progress to beat the sector.

Im so glad rooms games are getting recognition again because im currently making one

I’ve been wanting to make a “Rooms” inspired game, I’ll definitely be using this video as the “do’s” and “don’ts” for it.

1. Don’t rely off of Node entities
2. Audio cues should be obvious and clear
3. Smiles are not creepy

Any more that I’m missing?

They got killed by Ambush rebounding on them and they thought it was the best thing to happen to them in any game ever.
