My mom was murdered Dec. 11th, 2003. 23 years later I’m still haunted by the loss and trauma. Prayers to anyone who has suffered and to Dave. God bless.🙏🏽

I am 51 years old. I grew up with Dave and loved all the alternative bands. I feel the x generation had so much pain and the music was there to help us breath.

I never knew of Dave or this horrible murder! I only knew of him when he was with Carmen Electra . Poor Dave ! Smh I never judge drug addicts because something or someone hurt them. It’s really a slow suicide. Thank you for sharing his story ❤❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 my soul hurts for him what a horrible thing to happen to anyone at such a young age or any age for that matter. What a creative strong young man… he had to feel so alone. What a beautiful looking mom and family.

You can tell Navarro is extremely intelligent. He is very well spoken almost perfect in the way he speaks.

I think it's important to remember this doesn't end in a happily ever after way. He will still struggle, and hopefully for the right reasons.
But in these comments are also so many lives with so much pain they carry and struggle with daily.
To all of you survivors, ❤❤, you deserve to live fully and meaningfully🙏🙏❤️

The fact that he got that tattoo, "I have one but not by choice," brought me to tears. It felt very authentic and heartfelt that he honored that stranger's hardship in WW2.

I watched every single season of Ink Master when he was the host of the show. I never knew that his mother was taken away from him in such a violent way. I'm glad that he's doing better than he was when he was younger.

always found Dave fascinating, I'm glad he survived addiction. such a horrible way to lose your beautiful mom. it must be awfully tough the loss when there's a person to blame and running loose. loved him hosting ink masters, never would've watched the show without him. I'm so happy for him to think of his mom with loving memories now, happy he found a beautiful woman to love.

I love Dave Navarro. He's been through hell and still manages to find the strength to fight. And he's a fantastic guitar player.

We are so happy you are alive Dave! I cannot believe I've been listening to you since I was 18 years old, back in the 80's.

3 of us decided to go camping, stopping by our acid dealers house along the way. He gave us paper and a Jane's tape. The entire weekend was majical, mind altering and the first time i has heard Jane's Addcition. Mind blown. I'm now 57 and habe seen Jane's 3 majical times. And with 3 amazing stories to go with it.

So sorry to hear about your moms tragic death. So glad you have recovered. ❤
