Ima cry when this mall closes, def been trash for a min but it was my trash.

That mall looks a lot healthier than most of the zombie malls that are no-where near closing! 🤯

I’m flabbergasted such a lively mall is closing. There’s a worker at the kiosk for goodness sake, there’s never someone at the kiosks!

At the three to four minute mark you’re passing what used to be Value City, an amazing old timey McDonald’s, and a large arcade.

Dude! That's my mall! I grew up in & live in Sparrows Point. I went to that mall back in the 80s & 90s. I could go on about all the different store that came thru there.
In the 2005 renovations was either when they split the value city store into 2. Top being Value City Furniture bottom being Burlington Coat Factory. Or when they tore down the old JC Pennys garage & built McDonald's on the mall lot.

Ultra zone , sprayed T shirts , Bourbon chicken , cheesesteak spot back in the day , mcds in the back corner , jewelry spot where Arthur was , Jimmy jaze , game stop .. so many memories in the 90s / early 2000s when it was popping

Nice tour Tom. As you know, we really were lucky to have experienced the major thriving days of Malls in the 1980s and 1990s, before things started to dwindle by the 2000s. Thanks for capturing the final history of this mall before it's gone or altered!

Eastpoint had one of the first Merry-Go-Round stores in the area.

The waterfountain was at the  Hutzler's entrance to the mall.  The center of the mall was where Santa and the Easter Bunny visited every year.  The bank was Baltimore Federal Savings and Loan.  Also once upon a time there was a BG&E store that sold all the latest in 1970's household major appliances, I enjoyed watching the color TV's while waiting for my Grandmother to pay here BG&E bill.

The abandoned "Bank" looking spot was the Post Office

My first job in 1998 was at that McDonald's that used to be in the Mall. They used to have a KB Toys, Value City, Steve and Barry's, Electronic Boutique, Champs, Shoe City, Changes clothing store, Herman's Bakery, Sears, Sam Goody, Boardwalk Fries, Chick-fil-A, Subway, Lane Bryant, Dollar Tree, Finish line, Foot Action, Ames, Applebee's, Aladdin's castle arcade

My heart is just breaking watching this on top of Harford Mall n being closed. So many memories. So many good times.

This and the golden ring wall where my mall's growing up. So sad to see it.

Wow! I was surprised to see this video.  This is one of the three malls I hung out as a teenager.  The other two Golden Ring Mall (Doesn't exist anymore) and White Marsh Mall (in decline due to crime issues).  I grew up in Baltimore City before moving out of the state of Maryland in 2000.

I actually worked at the Sears in Eastpoint Mall when it opened in 1991 for about 3 years.  When you walked away from the Sears location in the mall on the right there was black glass, that was a Suncoast video store.  When going to the left the first food court slot was a Chik-Fil-A.  I always ate there when I did not bring my lunch.  There was also an electronic boutique store back then.  There was a water fountain, but it was small.  I don't remember the exact location though.

I remember the Value City store as a friend of mine always liked going there.

I last went there the year 2000, there were signs the mall was starting to decline.  Thanks so much for this video as it brought back many great memories from my youth.

If you don't mind going further west into Hagerstown, MD there is a dying Outlet (Hagerstown Premium Outlets).

The 2005 renovations was the reconfiguration of Value City. It was split into two separate spaces, with Value City Furniture occupying the upper level and Burlington taking the lower level. That said, that place has been running on fumes for 20 years

I used to spend so much time at Aladdin's Castle Arcade as a kid, so many memories in this place.

Older stores: Radio Shack, which I personally managed from 1992 - 2001. Also, Waldenbooks,  Lane Bryant which was one of the original stores, Kay-Bee toys, a Sam Goody. The arcade that was there was Aladdin's Castle. The water fountains .. there were THREE, at the center court and at each of the long ends. I remember throwing pennies in them as a little kid. I found it crazy that Ultrazone is still there. Its been there for a good 40 years, it opened when I was managing the Radio Shack. I personally haven't visited this Mall in 10 years, and I live just a few miles from it. That Raven area there is where the "Bennet's Curse" haunted attraction is, and it has been an annual thing for the last five years.

My parents used to take me to this mall when I was a child. The JC Penney hallway used to be a plain hallway with the water fountains and no stores except for the JC Penney at the end of it.

The Michelle branch song to start the video really makes you want to go back to the early 2000’s

For a "dead mall" that is busier in sense of the tenats compared to a few dead malls i have seen.
