Welcome to our first-time watching as we react to Arcane Season 2 Episode 3.

Arcane is an adult animated steampunk action-adventure television series created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. It was produced by the French animation studio Fortiche under the supervision of Riot Games, and distributed by Netflix. Set in Riot's League of Legends universe, it primarily focuses on sisters Vi and Jinx. The second and final season is finally here and we cannot wait to catch up with Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Jace, Viktor, Heimerdinger, Ekko and more!

On episode 2x3 of Arcane this is the final episode of Arcane Season 2 Act 1 and we got to see another huge action sequence when Vi (now an Enforcer) and Caitlyn track down Jinx and finally confront her. Resulting in an insane 2v2 with Vi Vs Jinx and Caitlyn vs Sevika

Meanwhile Jayce, Heimerdinger and Ekko discover the truth about wild runes.

We hope that you enjoy our reactions, commentary and review as we discuss the character dynamics especially between sisters Vi and Jinx, how Fortiche continues to deliver an amazing spectacle with it's animation and why Arcane and League of Legends are here to make an impact!

They had their first kiss and broke up a second time in the same episode

Jinx was fully prepared to die in that fight. In her mind that wasn’t how it was supposed to go because she wasn’t supposed to live.

I think “This isn’t how it’s supposed to go” just means that Jinx wanted to die in this fight, ideally at Vi’s hands. In S1 it was implied that she’s been suicidal for a while (the bullet hole in her mirror, her trying to blow herself up after her fight with Ekko, her telling Vi “you’re the reason I’m still alive”). Plus the kind of dejected way she said, “I just can’t die” in this very scene. Jinx is deeply, deeply unwell.

First time in history where The Media Knights upload 3 videos in 1 day

Using a toxic death cloud as an advantage when your mom was keeping it at bay to protect the citizens of the underground is kind of fucked up when you think of it

The characterisation of the young kid that protects Jinx is insane, especially upon realizing she's yet to speak a single word yet.

Jinx only reversed the ventilation, it was the upper town that was pushing poison gas to downtown. By the sheer ammount of the explosions we can see how much they pumped down, jinx only added some paint to it but all that toxic gas is the upper town doing.

18:08 , when she says this she was actually ready to die, she was supposed to die that was part of her plan that's why she said "I'm ready"

This episode (for me personally) is the best of the show so far and wouldn’t be that absurd to call a masterpiece!

Things I noticed In Ep. 3:
1)There was a pillar showing both of them as kids with a heart joining them. During the fight they crashed thru the pillar breaking it's at the heart representing their shattered relationship.

2) When Caitlyn was made general and everyone was pledging allegiance, the big guy ( who was drinking with VI ) had a concerned look and walked out ), in teasers clips he is drinking with emmo VI, so he also doesn't like the path the path that Caitlyn is headed.

Ambessa is doing a great job of manipulating the situation to bring the Piltover and Zaunite factions to more closely reflect the values and methodologies of Noxus for her fight against the Black Rose. She lost her holdings in Noxus, so if she can turn Piltover and Zaun into an army she can use, with the technology they possess, she could give the Black Rose a run for its money in a straight up fight even with the obvious magic deficit she faces against them.

Gosh this last episode left me with so many emotions and my way to cope is watching other people watch it 😭 Vi crying genuinely broke me because she never cry’s, I hope Caitlyn realizes her wrongs to tries to find Vi HOPEFULLY THEY GET BACK TOGETHER but the fact i have to wait a week for another 3 episodes is ruining me right now, my mind is just racing with theories of what might happen 😭

"the Black Rose shall bloom once more"

I think the reason Cait hitting Vi with her gun hurt so much is because im pretty sure she hit where Vi got stabbed and that wound never properly healed.
Vi also fully let her gaurd down which she never does
Great Reaction as always!

18:18 Jinx planned that Vi would kill her at that moment, and that's why she wanted the girl to get away, that's why she said that "that's not how it should be."

I cannot tell you how HYPED I got as soon as the song from the teaser played in the Vi vs Jinx. Never thought they'd bring it back, but I'm glad they did. I had a feeling that was WoodKid.
