Posting this for a few reasons:

1. My first Switch 2 video is taking a little longer to make the expected. Sorry.

2. I don’t have a standalone 100% Sunshine supercut.

3. We found the original footage and fixed all the graphical glitches so consider this a remaster!

"C'mon throw me a challenge Nintendo!"

cuts to the Sand Bird

I remember when Miyamoto admitted even he’d grown to dislike this game because he feels he made it a little too hard. I can see his point after I got 100% on All Stars and just got a postcard for my troubles-

“Please like the video.”
Dude, I liked the video before I even started watching it

Choc: I 100% Super Mario Sunshine

Me: Oh you poor bastard...

YAY, SUNSHINE!

The only Mario game I’ve 100% completed 4 times. Why? I have no clue, I guess I really like this game. Actually, I love this game

20:52 "Do physics even exist?"

man you're talking about a game in which a plumber can jump 5 times his height while sporting a contraption capable of holding tonnes of water in a tiny space.

Thank you for fostering. I work in an animal shelter and by fostering you are helping countless homeless animals. I understand why you can’t keep them all and why helping them get adopted allows you to open your home to the next kitty. This is truly a selfless act and you are appreciated by animal rescuers everywhere!

Now I would kill to see a dreaded DK 64 100% playthrough from choc

Sunshine is a perfectly fine game......untill you decide to 100% it, then you'll curse this game's existance.

35:15 A certain clown: "Their open wounds is the least of their worries; with my ghost eyes see they have the silent menace of gingivitis. They shouldn't have lied to their dentist about flossing."

7:09 so... who's gonna tell him that sunshine is no longer part of the "Mario games from the last 2 decades"

I never got around to seeing the 3D all-stars version so this is appreciated.

But 100%? Oh... You poor soul.

27:05 that‘s what reading dialogue is for. Iirc the turtles either steal the plants nutrients from the ground, or straight up eat their roots while buried in the earth.

The pained sigh coupled with “please like the video” made this the fast like I’ve ever given a video.

do people dislike this game because they think it’s too difficult? i think the difficulty is part of the charm. getting a shine always satisfies. the vacation vibes, soundtrack, movement, gameplay, graphics, nostalgia. idk i love this game

I also made this trek, and I didn't even feel complete after doing so. My copy of the game glitched out and made it so that I was missing a blue coin in the hotel world. I went through about 6 different guides, apparently something happened that made it disappear without counting it as collected, so it sits at like a 99.99 completion rate. I also loved this game as a kid, but I don't think I'll ever go back and 100% it again lol. Thanks for suffering for our entertainment Choc!

1:06:45 the fact Peach even had to think about it already spawned fanfics and theories

1:53:48 that is actually how cloud seeding works. They add stuff to the atmosphere to increase clouds. It isn't a concentrated stream of water but spraying clouds to make bigger clouds exists.
