Chocopus asking what is objectively the worst level while starting out in Rusty Bucket Bay got a solid laugh. You sweet soul.

So fun fact, that last blast Grunty shoots at the end of the boss fight was orignally supposed to hit Banjo and Turn him into a frog. Then you'd play as Tootie and apparently have to go back through I think all the levels to turn Banjo Back. Luckily they realized that'd be too long and scrapped it.

Finding out that Choctopus hasn't played Banjo Kazooie is like discovering the captain's secret box which contains a note that says "port left, starboard right".

"Does everything in this game have eyeballs?" Yes

Bros gonna have an actual aneurism 100%ing Banjo Tooie

Fun Fact!: 1:46:58
Grant Kirkhope himself voiced these plant pots. When he recorded those lines, Nintendo misheard him and thought he said "Fuuuuck youuu" so Grant had to re-record those lines until they could hear "Thaaaaank youuu"
Grant said this on Guest Grumps!

32:42 Just so you know, the reason Banjo does a backflip is because he's too close to Bottles' mole hill. You can prove this by standing further away from the mole hill and then activating bottles to come out. Bottles basically flings Banjo back when he pops out.

42:50 I've played this game so much that I straight up forgot that the grille chompa is even supposed to be a hidden trap at all. I watched him run into it wondering why he wasn't attacking, and then realized that normal people don't have my same exact 25 year old muscle memory from a 90s platformer. My brain is absolutely upside-down.

my banjo-kazooie cartridge is scribbled all over it with red crayon

The game never tells you this, but a MASSIVE tip for swimming underwater (and flying) is to hold the R button to make MUCH sharper turns. It really helps with turning the key in Clanker’s Cavern and swimming through the ship’s blades in Rusty Bucket Bay.

I hope one day he plays Conker's Bad Fur Day.

"I 100%ed Banjo-Kazooie the first time I played it."

Honestly? Same. That game may take an acquired taste for some, but it's REALLY good when you start getting into it.

I love watching someone who hasn't played this game back to front 50 times, it's like watching our 37 year old baby take his first gamer steps 🥰

The absolute bewilderment in "CLANKER'S CAVERN?!"

"Oh, he wants me to shit an egg into his head."
real sentence spoken out loud by sane person

I still have my og cartridge that belonged to my grandma before I was born, we used to play the same games together and she absolutely loved Banjo and Yoshi's Story
