As a dutch person there is nothing funnier than someone asking you to play belgium and you deciding to play the Netherlands because its better.

So this is how we force Belgium to get better roads...

The classic Dutch tactic of: come get in my swamp if you dare

imagine you are a german soldier thinking you will march through the netherlands like butter but then getting absolutely mauled by some dudes in a fort using cannons from the 19th century sipping on hot black coffee

Netherlands mentioned? Prepare for the entire nation to somehow find it and absolutely go nuts over it for being mentioned

You turned "De crisisjaren" into "De krijsisjaren" which basically translates to "The shrieking years".
You get my vote of approval on behalf of the comedic value xD

You are a lot more positive about our language then we tend to be😂

As a dutchie I clicked as soon as I read the word “Stroopwafel”

Fortmaxxing? Absolute cinema.

"So you have walls around the 'Stroopwafel line"? What are they made off, bricks?"

"Mostly Germans, some Italians too!"

If you ever want a good “German encirclement survival” challenge, you can play monarchist Netherlands. If both Belgium and Luxembourg are capitulated (which almost certainly means fall of France), you can do a focus to annex both of them WHILE they are capitulated. This path also allows you to get a custom German Empire puppet

12:00 every Belgian person is now mad and every dutch person is now experiencing an extremely patriotic feeling along with an uncontrolable laugh.

Imagine if you're a dutch person, youre at your grandparents place and your grandfather says "yeah, we wrecked the Germans on the Stroopwafel line"

The fact that EVEN the Netherlands lasted longer then the French did against Germany while having to fight with 300 year old canons is absolutely hilarious.

One of the biggest reasons why Dutch is hard to pronounce for foreigners is that in Dutch a lot of words are combined into one word. Noordoostpolder is noord oost polder. North east polder

When the river starts speaking dutch

That incredible feeling when you have exam tomorrow and just spend 1 hour of your time watching hoi4 vids

How a Dutch would say it is “gekoloniseerd”

Turning the blitzkrieg into WW One 2: Entrenched Boogaloo, it's hilarious

As a dutch person i already see this video as a 10/10, Edit after watching it's actually a 11/10 would 12 if not for you roasting our language ;)
