Today, Alex is in the chair and he wanted a modern mod cut after getting a mod haircut that he didn't like. Alex came in with some examples for a textured mod cut, but Dan couldn't make it work. So instead Dan gave Alex a mod cut perfect for 2026 that balanced out his last haircut so that he could grow out a proper mod hairstyle.

Tom Welling doppelganger.

I would have never guessed how technical these fringey haircuts are. Very interesting. Well done.

I felt like you were working blind as far as your vision for his hair, not out of ignorance of the mod style but found your way through it as you progressed. His hair actually appeared to have more length on the sides. Great technique!
The cut looks authentic to the era.

Dan, besides being the best men's hairdresser you are tremendously diplomatic ❤

It's incredibly unfair. Any haircut on that guy will look amazing simply because he's so handsome!

Who knew it was possible for such an attractive person to walk in to a salon that gorgeous and somehow manage to walk out even more beautiful? Good job sir.

The kid is so handsome, he's going to look good no matter how his hair is cut. The stylist is quite gifted

When it comes to hair Dan is a technical genius. Amazing the dynamics that go into hair cutting.

I love the honesty, and the detailed explanation. This shows so much pride in his work rather than just cutting for the sake of it. The communication with customers is outstanding.

I love watching you cut hair. I grew up sitting in my mom's salon watching her. She was trained "old school" like a barber.
So, why don't you start a women's haircut channel? Sign me up.😊

Roman emperor. All he needs is the corona laurea to finish the look. Wow.

Love the way Dan explains if he can do what the client wants or not. I too, didn't realize how technical this haircut is. Holy cow! In the end, this young man looks awesome!

Looks way more modesque, bet that was a difficult cut, would love to see a Part 2

All of Dan's haircuts are a work of art. Subtle changes made all the difference to this young man's hairstyle and looks great.

This young man could be a model. He’s got wonderful bone structure! Great haircut!

Alex is a good looking young man and I love how well he listened to Dan. Some young people just want what they want instead of listening to the professionals about the why's and wherefores. I think it looks so much better, better shape and texture. Dan is so great at what he does 👏
