Love your teaching style! I have been watching your videos one after another all day today while swatching a full set of Polychromos.

Thank you! I'm a new colored pencil enthusiast. Your tutorial helped me learn so much about creating realistic objects.❤

Thank you Emma! This was my first color pencil rendering! I normally do watercolor. Wow! I'm so pleased with my fig. Your instructions were so wonderfully clear I was able to follow along the entire time. My fig is amazing for a first color pencil rendering!!! I appreciate the free tutorial. So generous!

Best coloured pencil tutorial! So clear & doesn’t skip bits. I’m so pleased with the outcome. Thankyou!

Gorgeous! 👏🏻

grazie per questo tutorial, mi sono divertita tantissimo! sei una delle mie artiste preferite. baci dall'Italia ❤

Thank you, such an exquisite result!

Sensational tutorial - thank you.

Hi Emma, so lovely! I love your feathery pencil technique, would you say you'd use it even for portraits or only for botanical subjects?

Thank you a really super video, I’m looking forward to getting started!

This is an excellent tutorial! Although I used Prismacolor pencils and had some darker purples that may have been a better color match to the reference image, I chose colors that were as close to the Polychromos pencils as possible to practice layering.  I feel like I am finally understanding layering to create new colors and to adjust shades and tones because of the way you explained it and walked through the process.  Thank you so much!

I'm so happy to see a professional using Polychromos. Almost every coloring tutorial is done with Prismacolor. In your video you show the importance of building up layers. I realy loved it! Thanks for the detailed video.

Only 1 question...What paper did you use here?
