For those planning to go to Glacier National Park, I cannot recommend these videos enough. In 2023 my small family of 4 went to Glacier and had a perfect time due almost entirely to the videos posted by this channel. They are a gift to those of us that want to make the most out of our once in a lifetime (hopefully more) Glacier adventure. I say Thank You to you "The West Is Big, Explore It" but these two tiny words do not truly capture my gratitude. Your love for Glacier and willingness to share it has made memories for my girls wife and I that will last a lifetime. It is my #1 NP and in the top 3 for everyone else (Yellowstone and Acadia rival it for the ladies). Much love to you!!

I love you so much, dude. Your videos have helped me plan every single roadtrip for the past decade of my life, ever since my first trip around Utah when I was 16. And here you are again as I head to Glacier later this year. You’ve helped create memories I will carry with me for the rest of my life, thank you.

We’ll be at Glacier September 18-24.  So far we have a Many Glacier boat ride and a Red bus tour on the West side.  We are camping at the KOA’s on each side of the park.  We stayed at Apgar inside the park a few years ago, and while convenient it was tough getting into our site.  Since our last visit I had a failed hip surgery and a reconstructive surgery resulting in a permanent disability, so our hiking will be limited to a mile or less.  A bear wouldn’t have to run fast to catch me now!  Disability or not we will have a great time!  Thank you for your great videos!!!

Thank you for the great overview on visiting glacier. We are going to be there September 6- 9. We would love to join you on a hike, meal, and/or drink.

I am lucky enough to live in Northern Idaho. Quick 4 Hour drive to glacier. I go once a year sometimes twice a year.

Your videos are incredibly helpful and thorough. We're planning to visit Glacier National Park from September 6th through the 10th, coming all the way from the nation's capital. We'll be staying on the west side for two nights and in East Glacier Park for three nights before heading down to Yellowstone.

This video was informative. I am scheduling a trip to go to Glacier at the beginning of July. I am taking an Amtrak train and the trip lasts a total of 7 days. I am so excited to get to see this park firsthand as your video was awe inspiring.

Love your channel.  We were at Glacier 3 years ago in our trailer.  We stayed in the park.  This September 20-24 we return (from Orlando) and we are staying at KOA West so we have full hookups.  I’ve had a couple bad bicycling crashes so my mobility is now limited.  However, we hope to explore the scenic drives with occasional stops to take in the views.  We also travel with kayaks and my arms still work well!

In the seven years I worked as a fee collector/ ranger at GNP, especially the five years in the Polebridge entrance, I  saw many black bears on the trails. I saw several grizzlies from a distance and one very close, about 10-15 feet away; he stuch his head out from a bush he was feeding from, and that was the first time I became aware of just how BIG they truly are! Fortunately, I knew he was in the area, so was prepared, and just quietly backed away snd left him to his meal (had to keep the young couple near me from running!). Definitely the most exciting wildlife encounter of my hiking career! And the rangers can use the bear cannisters you can't take home with you on a plane.
