This one was a lot of work but also a lot of fun! World War 1 was infamous for the massive trench systems employed by both sides. I've tried to pick out a few features to build into my recreation that would have been seen during the war. The trench systems were massive and included things like barracks, command centers, and infirmaries built into them. I could never possibly hope to recreate all of the aspects of a true WW1 trench but I've done my best! I hope you guys enjoy the build!

Also, most frontline trenches—especially a well-established frontline position like this—would normally have a fire step rather than simply a firing position. The fire step would allow troops to fire over the parapet, while dedicated positions could be used for a sentry, machine gun, or periscope. There could also be a sap leading forward from the trench.
Where the trench changes direction, those sections would generally form fire bays, giving defenders a better field of fire along the trench line.
All in all, though, this is very well done. And I appreciate your hard work. Really good work!
