"What'd you do last night?" "Got stoned af and watched a dude with dad energy build a house"

After watching your videos I built my first cabin in the woods at 62 years old.

My husband and I would watch this over and over as he was at the end of his life (lung cancer). It was so peaceful for both of us.

This is a man at peace. This is how men are supposed to live.

Can we just take a second to enjoy the time he spent setting up the camera angles? It would’ve taken him probably half the time to finish this project, but instead he chose to make some nice, satisfying content for us. What a guy.

The amount of work that went into filming this build can't be understated. Great job my man. On both the filming and the construction.

You and your wife make me believe I can do anything. Thank you for leading by example.

Not only is this cabin build entertaining to watch, the video is also relaxing because the guitar music in the background doesn't interfere with the narration- it supports it without being too loud or annoying. Bravo! If Bob Ross built cabins...

So many "Build a cabin in the wild" videos just have music...Thanks so much for voicing this video. appreciate you telling us the stuff we might not know. 1 thumbs up

It’s great! My shed has been completed and it turned out nice looking and sturdy and it is way better than the sheds that many of my neighbors had put up. Of course, I'm pleased with the outcome and this Ryan’s https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans  was extremely useful to me as a guide.

i can’t even imagine taking on this sort of building project never mind filming and documenting the entire thing with this sort of quality. i’m extremely impressed.

Anyone besides me watch this multiple times? Probably my 10th time.. the music is perfect

Very rarely these days do I come across a YouTube video that captivates my undivided attention for a full 40 minutes, without getting distracted or pausing whatsoever.

This video was definitely one of those occasions, loved every minute of it. You’re living the dream, amazing job on the cabin and the video!

This entire video just feels of life's simplest pleasures. A man in the woods, building himself a cabin, with some narration that sounds like a string of letters sent to friends and family, and some quality. You sir, seem like a great guy to get a beer with.

Bob ross of house building! the 3 part series on simple cabin everyone can build is outstanding.

It was December 2021. I was finishing my second year law school finals. I had to get up early morning and study all the time for weeks. This popped up in my feed. Over the course of days I would watch the entire video, early in the morning with a coffee, trying to distract myself from what was to come on that day. This channel has done a lot for people, Dave. Thanks for the escape.

At 75yo, this I enjoyed immensely… with nearly 20% energy left, I was able to see it all yet again …. You made my 45 minutes of dreaming come true … thank you!

I honestly never thought that watching someone build a cabin could become ASMR. But man, you’ve done it.

Here I am at 83 years of age, and you have fired me up to give it a try.  I hope my health stays good enough to do so!  Of all the videos I have seen on You Tube for this sort of work,  in my opinion there is none to compared to yours. I am happy to have found your channel.  Thanks so  much.
