Sooo glad July 2021 still Gratefully Blessed to be alive celebrating my 70th Birthday finally getting to see CHESS RECORDS and Our People Delectable Style to the world..Music makes the world go around  even in Rona Season

Bo Diddley, DAMN GENIUS!! Those guitars are priceless,!!! To musicians and music lovers, such as myself! I couldn't breathe without music!

Definitely a watered down version of Chess' history.

I saw Bo Diddley play at an all white high school an all white town for that matter in Southern California in 1972 or 73. I was blown away when a friend of mine whom lived in that town said you wanna go see Bo Diddley at the H. S. This weekend? 🤪 what! Years later as an adult when ever that town came up in conversation I’d say yeah, I saw Bo Diddley play at the High School once. Their response, B.S.!

Marshall is a really likeable guy!
you know you'd enjoy partying with him!

Howlin Wolf voice 👍🏿

I went to Columbia College in Chicago in the early 80's. Malcolm Chisolm was my teacher. He was the master sound engineer at Chess. He was the man behind the board for Maybelline. He always like to tell the stories about Little Walter Jacobs. I was big into Blues then, I think the only one in my class, and Malcom always had great stories for me about his Chess days.

I saw this documentary a few years back, and thought it was the most accurate story on Chess Records. I think this was the only one to talk about the great arranger, Charles Stephney. He had the Dells, Ramsey Lewis, plus the blues men.

que chimba haber nacido ene esa epoca manejando un cadillac 1955 escuchando esta musica y protando un traje a la mediada
