The fact that Miguel was the first person to actually stand up against Kreese's own lesson just makes him 10x more badass.

The fact that Miguel stood up to Kreese and wasn't even afraid to do it shows how brave and badass he is

Interesting fact: the Cobra is a defensive creature. It strikes only when threatened. It doesn't strike first.
This is Jonny Laurence's way of the Cobra

Showing mercy doesn't mean letting your guard down.

Martin Kove looks great for a 73 year old. Yes, he's aged, but he really doesn't look that different than he did during the 80s.

Miyagi would be proud of Johnny now

Is anyone gonna ignore the fact that Miguel had the balls to stand up to Kreese. I mean it's Kreese we're talking about and Miguel is the first out of his generation to speak up his mind against the King-Cobra himself. Another great reason why Miguel is one of the Top-5 Best Karate-Kid Characters.

“What was that? That’s not how I taught you how to fight”

“That’s what sensei Kreese taught us. This isn’t a tournament this is real life”

“Is that how you wanna live your life?”

That shows how much Johnny has changed, from Karate kid to Cobra kai

The scene where Tory tells miguel about her mother is one powerful scene and I like the fact that they made a connection with Kreese's philosophy

According To Martin Kove, for season 3 of Cobra Kai, we're going to see that Kreese was bullied in his childhood, see the dreadful experiences he came across during his time in Vietnam, and see how all of that shaped his point of view as the ruthless sensei he is and why he believes you should never show mercy to your enemies.

Kreese is such a  great villain.  Love this series!

Kreese was not right, because he wasn't just merciless. He was predatory. He's a sadist and doesn't care about justice.

Nothing is black and white. There are times to show mercy. There are times for no half measures.

The fight isn't over until your enemy it's finished. You show your enemies no mercy

In season 3 we are gonna see Kreese Vietnam flashbacks.

yeah John kreese was right , i really like him , he has a lot of good phrases

STRIKE FIRST!!!!

STRIKE HARD!!!!

NO MERCY!!!!!!!!!

Kreese was right, Johnny lowered his guard to him.

Martin Kove is such a down to earth guy. He and his son Jesse were very appreciative of the fancy cigars I got them from my Gran Canaria trip a week prior

I do see John kreese point of view to a certain extent. in a matter of life and death you need to be merciless. But in sparring and tournament you have to show mercy and sportsmanship. same he couldn't defrientiate between the 2
