A squeakquel is in the works. Thank you guys so much for the crazy support! I was worried my ass was gonna be making lolcow content for the rest of my life here 😭

"This next entity, however, is a lot more dangerous and hard to contain." I get an ad for Popeyes shrimp.

The anomalous condition known as “The Stripes” is not cure by consuming lima beans, it’s “cure” by being true to yourself. The afflicted child in the original text loved lima beans but refused to eat them due to social pressure by her peers who hated lima beans. Over the course of the text, the child’s appearance changed to match the situation on hand in overly exaggerated ways to the point they become the environment they’re in. No body in the original text knew what was happening so it’s a previously undocumented, though some believe that the woman who helped the child may have had a similar case in her youth. It may be a rare genetic condition that flairs when the affected experience stress from social pressures during adolescents.
My solution to prevent this anomaly is a PSA campaign to encourage juveniles to be true to themselves and don’t give into social pressure. Would also be ideal if we increase juvenile mental health care. We don’t know if it’s just the prepubescent so attention would have to be placed on all minors. I could see my solution getting push back, especially if it leads to children no longer adhering to cultural and religious norms.

The Old Lady who swallowed a fly would be a world ending threat

This implies that cat in the hat can be contained

There’s definitely an anomalous effect that occurs when you give a mouse a cookie.

- Enters your home
- Fucks shit up
- Un-Fucks shit up
- Leaves
- Refuses to elaborate

A case of the stripes is basically baby's first body horror

I imagine "the giving tree" would have been 'safe' only to end up 'neutralized'

Do NOT under ANY Circumstances let the cat in the hat anywhere near the location called “folk valley”

We all know David would be a Keter. He’s too dangerous to be allowed in public.

It’s all fun and games until Captain Underpants says La La Tra

The very hungry caterpillar grows.. But it is still hungy.

I know damn well the Magic tree house and that damn magic evil bus are scps in disguise

1:07 Dont forget Euclids are usually difficult to predict, thats why most humanoid entities are euclid even if they dont want to escape

Origami yoda is a fucking MYTHICAL pull

We should consider Amelia Bedelia an instant Apollyon

2:45 if i recall it's more of a "be yourself" thing. She was peer pressured into not eating the beans. That then lead her to change everytime someone else called her something. Things only stopped when she accepted herself and her enjoyment of the beans.

I'm pretty sure in the last book in the series, Origami Yoda teleports from Dwight's room to the room of another kid on the other side of the US.

PS seeing an Origami Yoda reference in 2026 has made my day.

0:10 I forgot that actually caused controversy in the SCP Fandom. No fandom is perfect, after all. I'm just glad it's improving.
