Bone was indeed peak middle school

Genuinely thought Bill Nye was a local scientist, because he visited my elementary.

You should check out Amulet next! That was my peak middle school comics. Kids would fight over those books, you could hardly ever get those checked out unless you bribed the librarian to keep a copy for you lol.

I grew up reading comic anthologies from local libraries and wanting to make my own. Becoming an adult disconnected me from that dream.
Having bought Bone recently, it rehydrated that dream and now my drawing notebooks have an actual purpose.
Fucking love Bone, dude.

This and Amulet were peak reading during Elementary and Middle School. I once heard someone describe Bone as Berserk for Kids, and they’re kinda right. Peak childhood reading

Bone is basically an Ed Edd n’ Eddy fanfic.

“Give me that cigar” from one of the boon books became a thing between my friends then the entire school. We started brain rot

I currently have every single book on a shelf five feet away from me

Bone
One of the greatest literary works of this century.

Definitely recommend trying out one volume of Bone or if you wanna full commit buy the omnibus. Glad Choppo made a video just for him.

The first Bone book was the first book I read entirely in one sitting

Freaking loved bone as a kid, genuinely baffled it’s so hard for them to get an adaptation of the ground

You and only one other person are the only people that I know to talk about this series. My mom bought me the first book back when I was in the 6th grade and I got all of the other books after that.
This series deserves ALOT more attention man, too bad the Netflix series got cancelled for this show 😭

I’ll always love Bone, it’s what got me into comics

Things I remember about Bone:
- 3 weird guys show up in a town or something.
- the rabbit eared dragon that just sort of randomly shows up in unexpected locations.
- brutal war story out of nowhere.
- the rat beast king has like a billion teeth and gave me nightmares as a kid.

Phoney Bone absolutely needs to be in a Poker Night at the inventory game

You don't know how much you made my morning... thank you! BONE is one of the best things I have ever read and I'm glad to see some more talk around it! (Maybe a video on the Neverhood games soon? Those are fun!)

Bone is the best book collection. Nothing will ever be better ❤

I remember getting those books up to vol 4 at the book fair.

One faint memory I have is nearly bursting out laughing in the middle of class seeing Smiley Bone carrying wood, then someone gets his attention, so he turns around and hits the old man who’s right next to him with the lumber.
