My favorite time skip is when a YouTuber has a sponsor and I skip 2 minutes of the whole video

My favourite time skips are when i fall asleep watching something and have to figure out how the story progressed into a other show

Choopo twoopo is actually a time skip sequel to Choopo. The Choopo here is actually Lil Choop from the McDonald's video but 15 years later.

The idea that you can't count the time skips in Dragon Ball felt real to me: I was obsessed with Dragon Ball's time skips as a kid, because nobody did them that frequently before or since, but some of them are just in one caption and that's it. I still remember how between the Z Warriors' return and Goku's, there's a quiet, casual caption "A year passes ...."

Pokémon Black and White 2 are great timeskips. It was a really smart idea taking the Pokémon game with the most story and character development and seeing what happens years later. Things like seeing Team Plasma split into different factions and Pokemon from previous generations come into Unova are such great moves and made the world more alive and real to me

A good example of a movie not doing a time skip but arguable deserving one is The Incredibles, the fact 20 years passed in our world made everyone want to see how the characters aged, but when we did get a sequel it takes place the very second of the first film

Return to saboady is an amazing time skip

10:18 I would not count the 3700 year jump in Dr. Stone a time skip because (mostly)  everyone experience it. There is a 7 year time skip later in Dr. Stone that is crazy.

For All Mankind, is a great example of a show that regularly does fantastic time skips, the show is set in an alternate timeline, where the Soviet Union landed on the moon, before the U.S in 1969, with each season having a major time skip, showing how technology, culture, and politics evolved differently over time.

4:20 I was not familiar with your game, going to need your full breakdown of zelda lore now

The worst time skips are the ones that are just an excuse for off screen character development like in Young Justice, that show does a lot of stuff off screen between seasons you feel like you’ve skipped a season.

Other times it’s just an excuse to do a soft-reboot like in Ben 10, there’s such a disconnect between the original series and it’s first sequel Alien Force you question if these are the same characters or world, leaving the latter series to try and feel in the gaps to make more sense of things.

10:35 perfect joe joes bizarre adventures description

My favorite timeskips are the 2 major ones in Berserk, during the Golden Age and the Black Swordsman Arc

I wasn’t listening I was just watch the family guy on the screen

I am actually going to personally and formally request that you don't ever cover League of Legends, just so that's out there.

i think diavolos 10 second timeskip is best

I love timeskips as someone who writes, because I reach a point in my story where nothing is happening and I have no idea what to put in there, and I just go.. Eh.. Skip it xD Also, my favorite timeskip was when George R.R. Martin was gonna do a timeskip in the Song of Ice and Fire books, but then he was just gonna write a little bit about what happened to everyone between the books, and then just ended up writing an entire extra book instead ( A Feast for Crows) xD

I physically started pissing and screaming out loud when you mentioned lab rats

What's very funny to me is how I timeskipped all the spoilers so I could still enjoy Choopo and those series all in the same

Hello random youtuber that appeared in my home page! I will be watching this video now.
