Thanks guys for watching, and a million thank yous to Jim, Brad, and the Slipknot Team. The song in the intro is Deadweight by Luna Muerta. Check out the music here: https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/lunamuerta/youve-been-warned

Seeing Jim teach him how to play Solway is the most wholesome thing ive ever seen

Playing Slipknot riffs in front of Jim takes some baaaaalllllssss

The fact that Jim just wants to show everyone how to play songs right is awesome.

I adore how passionate Jim is toward the kids and youth.
His focusing on keep the prices low so they can afford to buy their own Jim Root Squier guitar.
The man is a legend. So passionate about music, kids and youth.

Jim Root seems to be such a cool and humble guy

You have to find someone who looks at you the way Ray looks at Jim

"You know"
Jim Root - Since 1900

Honestly, I love how Jim lives in the real world. At 25:41 they start talking about where his new sig is going to be made and he goes on to mention how he wants to keep costs down for the kid with his first job or the single parent who wants to buy a birthday present... Honestly... the dude just blows my mind. Most other artists with sigs just go straight high end with no compromises. Jim's just keeping in mind that real people are going to be buying his stuff and it shouldn't cost them an arm and a leg. I need to meet this man, shake his hand and just say thanks for staying so cool despite the fame.

Man Jim Root was so cool in this interview. Never have I seen an established guitar player hand over his guitar to the interviewer to jam out and then teaching him. Wow, Jim if you're reading this, THANK YOU.

14:04 I am still learning how to play guitar. - Jim Root

The two tallest and intimidating  members of Slipknot seems to be the chill ones

Jim is so kind, humble, open minded and passionate. Some musicians have nothing to share but he... He’s a dude.

“Do you want your guitar to be made by Mexicans in Mexico or by Mexicans in Southern California?”

Facts.

9:05 I really love how Slipknot basically just accepts the "consequence" of not revealing the identity of the new guy so they just decided to embrace with the tortilla guy meme lmao

It has now occured to me how insanely tall Jim is.

"Clown and Tortilla Guuuy "
The way he pronounces it is so funny to me

Edit: Is Ray officially part of Jim's friend group?

@32:27 "what, are you in Green Day" lmao

"I'm still with Orange, but I needed a real amp"

Hope this gives your channel the flood of subscribers you deserve. Jim’s awesome, and respect to have the balls to play SlipKnot in front of Jim on his guitar.
