Is There a More Notorious Derby? 😅

West Ham fan here, that atmosphere yesterday Millwall created. I don’t think you’ll get a more febrile and intense atmosphere at any other game this season

My mum and dad are Geordies so I’m a Newcastle fan,, but lived in the south east of England, all my life, my best mate is a diehard Millwall supporter, I go to the den regularly with him, it’s a great day out! Absolutely love Millwall, great people, great club

The Millwall and West ham firms have all retired. But its still a crazy dockers Derby.

Most football clubs have an "end" where the more aggressive fans congregate... at Millwall it seems like 3 sides of the ground are populated by the same type of tough people; no evidence of any middle-class infiltration at The Den...

I wonder if the youngsters of today know that Millwall were formed by the Scottish workers at J.T.Morgan canning factory,(an Aberdeen based company) who expanded down to Londons "Isle of dogs" in 1885!

(Thats why their colours are dark-blue and their badge is a version of the rampant lion,Scottish badge)

Thanks Blair. As a Hammer, I have to admit that the atmosphere took me back to the den that was Upton Park. I miss it.

Good description, can guarantee you won’t go to a more hostile, noisy passionate game all season…it was utter madness, but fantastic, proper football 💙💙💙
