The single most important thing i learned with power and other lines is flow control. or controlling the direction of flow in each line. That is key to getting the most out of your tanks.

24:49 Because the fabricator will never use more than one fuel type at a time, you can reduce the cable clutter by merging petrol and diesel into one line using a junction in the room above, and then carry that single line down to next to your fabricator where one more junction can split it apart into each input. You can pipe oil on that line as well for Steel production. The same with combining oxygen, CO2 and Methane (the 3 gasses). For high bandwidth needs, you'll want to run them apart but for this, it's okay to combine them.

for additional fabric you loot the blue buoyes and throw the Batterys you get into the recycler

You can use the Nebula flashlight to keep you safe from worms during shark harvesting or building.

I played this game in November last year, and completely forgot about it. I came back Monday this Week and boy there is so much I didnt knew about 😅 I just build my first two medium batteries, two medium fuel tanks and a Diesel generator (the machine that makes Diesel out of Bio scraps) on my ship. Man I am hyped to play more

Build one of each storage tanks next to elevator and just refuel ship from that. Thats great way to not mix up cables and see how much fuel and oil is left in storages upstairs.

Easy transport method is to load and carry a large box.

In the US a trade Plumber can make 250-300k its a good job.

Batteries can be a bit pricey and wind does have better power density, however the maintenance costs for those turbines adds up and actually becomes more expensive than the batteries fairly quickly unless you're practically living at the oil rig.  By contrast, solar panels don't need maintenance and just end up needing a battery backup and a lot of space, you can leave the oil rig for however long you want/need and nothing will break down.  If you get a bit creative you can even alleviate some of the issues, for example you can reduce the required space a fair bit by just sticking Lumilite panels to stuff instead of only using Limimaxes..

Also, you can run petrol and diesel through the same cable line if you're low on resources or want cleaner looking cabling, it just splits the flow rate between them if both are flowing.  You can even add crude oil to the mix without it breaking anything.

Great video… amazing tutorial … but you know u can use the same connection for diesel, oil, and petrol… usually i do a single connectors to the boat and then a switch on top to switch from diesel oil and petrol…. Saves alot of trouble….

Great tutorial. I actually picked up a few new things. Even with all my play time. I love learning from others.

Build your tanks under your boat. Clear out all mines by shooting them with the electric rifle. Not hard. I have 24 Oil, 24 Diesel and 8 Petrol all on the bottom and another 4 Diesel next to the engines two on each side. I then have 18 medium batteries on the roof and another 14 above the engines, seven on each side. Next I have 6 large wind on the corners of the helipad, three on the left and right side so the helo can still land and take off just fine. 2 more large winds up front and 6 large solar up front.

I have Laz setup for 20 oil to 24 Diesel and 8 Petrol. I have the oil rig setup for two distilleries and I have 14 large wind and 30 large solar and 20 medium batteries. I park and get topped off whenever I need to. At 66,000 diesel I come and go whenever I want. If I am low then I plug in my bot and all the lines for everything and go make dinner or whatever. When I come back everything is done. My lines are clean and organized and I still have tons of room for things under the helipad. Oh and I also have 40 large storage containers as well.

At the launch site I make everything I need there. I can fill 3 rockets without ever turning a single machine on if I wanted. But as I work I let things top off. Then turn things off when I leave. Doesn't take long at all. Just time to set things up. Pishon I did not have any issues because I had 7k iron and 48k oil already on my boat. I just had to make something like 800 steel, so I queued it up and went to eat.

I have cleared every single zone. After my massive builds I still have 8k iron and 10k copper and so much of everything else. So I went to Laz and dropped an entire large container of all materials off and two of gold, iron plastic and copper just because I have too many materials. However I have 250 hours played already. So if you don't have time you will struggle to get what you need.

So take the time to setup your ship properly. Go to 37 12 warehouse laz oil rig and launch and clear them 100 percent. Go to 37 or 12 and update your boat as much as you can. Set-up a few solar and wind up top and a few medium batteries and then 4 360 lights under water. Turn your 360 light on as well and build under the boat. Use those wireless ports and set up your ship nice and clean. It took only a few hours for me to set my ship up and now I have a ship that can literally go around the entire map on the outermost parts and I may use half my fuel at most. I have never been below 40k fuel and I go very far just because I want to see something or do something. So set up your boat properly and clear each spot out 100 percent or 95 percent if you can't find the secret rooms.

Also a secret. When you have your twin motor personal water jet thing and your 360 light. Go under 37 12 and Laz and hold E down you will get from each 6-8 large containers of poo and flesh, 2 containers of seaweed and 2 containers of rubber and plastic mixed based on what scraps into what. I don't know if they will fix this or what. But basically it is a ridiculous amount of materials for free. Save them and use them for dirt making. Also you have to occasionally toss in 5 poo or flesh into the dirt to make it happy or whatever. So set up loads of large containers to store that for you on Pishon and whenever you have Pear trees. I have mine on top of Laz along with a massive solar power plant and 30 medium batteries.

Next challenge: an efficient one cable system.

What happens if we build the refinery as oil pump > oil storage > refinery > junction > one pipe to diesel > one pipe to petrol > one pipe to boat?

Or maybe, one pipe to dock with diesel and oil storage there?
