I believe it’s #1 the most expensive zip code in the US is in the DC area. It’s where the lobbyists live - honest.

Please observe that the GM has turned on the seat belt sign. We're expecting turbulence, Please return your seat backs and tray tables to their full, upright positions.
One way or another, Hot Jarmo Summer continues today...

I'm prepared for the Sabres to take a bit of a step back next year from a points perspective but hopefully still make the playoffs. Prices are sky high given the weak UFA market and that is why Jarmo was able to get that 4OA. If they make their picks and take their assets - then so be it. They have time to see what they have in their F ranks.

Speaking of Calgary, Dustin Wolf's name was thrown around for some reason,

Listening at 32:46 it suddenly clicked with me why this front office feels so different to KA and previous regimes.
Consistently, Jarmo’s front office feels like it HAS a plan.
With KA, projecting moves felt like complete speculation and deals that came felt like they were out of no where.
With Jarmo, each situation feels like there’s a clear logic, plan, and ability to address them. It’s not reactionary. He leaves the org multiple viable directions to persue and as a result the Sabres aren’t backed into corners like they were with KA.
They could build goalie out, build defensemen out, get a high end forward, or pick at #4. Jarmo isn’t continuously forced into a particular move like KA so often was, even with Tuch or Bo.
I think Jarmo’s ability to retain leverage in these situations, leave options open, and plan ahead is something we haven’t had in a long time. The Buffalo Sabres finally feel competent!!

I WAS a Blackhawks fan. I am done with stupid organization. Davidson got the GM job because he was best friends with Danny Wirtz since 2010. I have been following the Sabres this past year. Hoping for a good season and I may travel to Buffalo for the playoffs.

of all the prospect you can draft at 4, the one that can boost his value in his draft +1 and 2 season is biggo vjorck.. with a potential of two more WJC.. maybe another full season in SHL.. maybe he will grow a inch or two? assets you need to for trades if he isnt playing for sabres.
some people go "that player is 5'9, i dont like that short players in my lineup, dont draft him.", it goes beyond that. asset management is a broad thing.

Guys my brother sold his Confo in Vienna Va about 30 minutes outside DC for half a million a decade ago! So it’ll take Tuchs whole first years check to buy a house like he just built in Clarence!

I know a lot of eagle players live in Delaware, but that’s Philly not Washington DC. I don’t know if he’d be able to do something like that and commute.
