good sweater game

Sabres looked like they already clinched and are waiting for it to begin

Love the body language speak....dont lose this take, so refreshing.

Great as always. Interesting that you've previously mentioned UPL's fire being lit by the challenge Levi posed.. yet there doesn't seem to be the same response with all the Hellebuyck rumors. Another possibility is that this is another issue w/ the 4 pre-season games. 12 periods to divide between 3 keepers. UPL could have benefited from the touches to get some game back. Didn't get them, launch into season and some loss of confidence as a result. At this point, he's 27- He is what he is.

I had the game muted by the time they went on the PP last night so I don't know when the fans booed specifically, but historically the loudest boos come when they do the drop pass thing that chews up a bunch of time and never quite works... A lot of fans would be very happy to see that particular tactic consigned to the trash (and I happen to think the PP may be better for it).

That was my son right below you with that fire appart chant.

Morning guys

You have to go to ellis

Ellis plays the next two games!!

Norris -4, lost in space for 7.9 million

That was some of the most pathertic hockey ive seen in awile by buffalo

I'll wait to see if Doan's "lower body" injury will heal.  But right now, he should be down on the 4th line.  He's a liability when he's not forechecking hard and working the corners.

I personally hate the lines right now, and watching Tage do whatever he wants on his line.  He turns it over too much, and his linemates can't figure out what he's going to do as he skates around in circles. Putting him on the wing will solve that.  I think Ostlund is the best center we have right now.

I wish UPL looked as great as Matt's hair this morning.

Good ? morning. How did Lindy start UPL after Ellis played so well. It was NOT “ un- expected “

Seems like the plan was we want to stand pat this offseason and we'll need to figure out who can play

less concerned about solving for UPL and more concerned for us not starting games fast

sometimes these are necessary lessons to learn

the lesson is "we're still talented but we can't just cruise"

Can someone link the game threads they mentioned?

I need a place to talk intelligently about hockey

If Norris and Doan are struggling, why not move Benson with them like they played in the playoffs?

Also, I’m surprised people aren’t discussing Quinn’s effort more this year. Seems like he’s only playing hard because it’s a contract year.

Sabres have a ton of centers playing wing and two players pass first and we know what UPL is. Its time for changes

The only potential #1 goaltender on the Sabres currently is Ellis!!!

UPL has never won the net. It has always  been given to him
