Here's a couple clips where I teach rope stuff

Rope is the best! The very same trick plays for a small crowd of 2-3 or can play to the back of an auditorium!

Rope tricks are my favorite illusion of all time and I still find myself amazed even after being explained. A close second is Penn & Tellers cups and balls trick done with clear cups.

Great effects. Simple but elegant. I was doing a trailer loading seminar and now realised I could have included these as a way to engage and entertain the participants.

I'm really enjoying watching your videos Doug. I'm pretty late to joining the world of magic tricks, but with just the little bit I've learnt already I'm enjoying fooling family, friends and work colleagues. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I was 8. When I turned 15 I was able to work in my local magic shop. Got to go to the Magic Castle quite frequently. But I ended up being a much better baseball player and went on to play professionally. But magic was always at my heart and still is.

Hey Doug, great video. I actually got the George Sands video from his son Alan a few years ago......now where did I put that?

George Sands was the first magician to take me under his wing as child in the Phoenix SYM. He was a charming magician, and a patient teacher. He would sell me his books out of the trunk of his car.

The first thing he ever taught me, was "Threading the Needle", there in the back room of Sun Magic. From there, it was ropesational, coins, rings and thimbles. Before he died, I had improved to the point where I stunned him several times. I'm grateful that the legend was in my life. May he Rest in Peace.

Hey Doug! I'm a pretty new member. Do you have a tutorial video for the ring and rope you do somewhere? Also, do you have regular live streams for members, and if so what day and time? Cheers!
