Welcome to Harry Potter Theory. Today we’re going to be discussing BOOKS vs FILMS - honing in on some of the darkest BOOK moments that, for varying reasons, simply never made their way onto the silver screen.
While the film adaptations brought the magic of Hogwarts to life on the big screen, they were not without their limitations. In the process of adapting the complex and intricate world of the books into a more visually-driven medium, certain dark and unsettling moments were omitted or altered, leaving fans with a somewhat diluted version of Rowling's original vision.
These were moments so dark that (in the case of some) they had to be removed in order to keep the film’s PG rating down.
Today, we’ll delve into these dark moments left out of the films, exploring the reasons behind their omissions and the impact of these changes on the overall story.
This is a compilation style video but I’ve also included an ADDITIONAL part 4.

Fleur: And what do you mean by that? What do you mean he was "Going" to be married?
Molly: Well, only that-
Fleur: You think bill will not wish to marry me anymore? You think because of these bites he will not love me?
Molly: No, that's not what I-
Fleur: Because he WILL! It will take more than a werewolf to stop bill from loving me.
Molly: well, yes, I-I'm sure. but I thought, perhaps, given how he-
Fleur: You thought I would not wish to marry HIM ? Or perhaps you HOPED! What do I care how he looks? I am good looking enough for both of us, I think. All these scars show is that my husband is BRAVE . And I shall do ZAT! (she then took the ointment from Mrs.Weasley and began applying it to bill's wounds)
Fleur had so much more character in the books than in the movies. Fleur was Rouler ou mourir.
