A two-day cycling trip from Slovenia’s capital to the Soča Valley and back. 230 km of scenic roads, mountain landscapes, turquoise water, and challenging climbs in temperatures reaching +35°C.

Along the way, I take in the incredible scenery of the Soča River, mountain gorges, a waterfall, and winding roads through the Slovenian Alps. But behind those beautiful views lie long climbs, exhausting heat, and kilometres that have to be conquered under my own power.

Two days on the bike, 230 km of adventure, and another reminder that the best views often come at a price.
