Only been spinning for a year [short forward] and wanting to learn long draw woollen. Thank you so much, this is one of the best technique teaching videos I have found 👏👍☺

I am a super new spinner and have been watching tons of videos online to learn how to spin. This is the first video I have watched that explains when to let the single wind onto the bobbin and that is one of the things that has been confusing the heck out of me. Thank you very much for showing that and sharing your knowledge.

It’s almost like park and draft with a spindle! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video. You make spinning approachable.

Thanks for this. It's the best description of the longdraw process I've found. You cover everything!

Oh my goodness, I finally get it!! Thank you so much for this video! I just spun my first successful yarn this way and I'm so delighted.

Super helpful as I spin my first roving—thank you!

Excellent lesson helped me understand! No one else explains what their pinch hand is doing while drawing back !

you make that look super easy. I find it very relaxing to watch

Thank you for a good demo and more thanks for keeping your demo inside the video frame.  I have only recently tried to spin with a degree of success.  My first attempt was with the top drop spindle and then I just had to have a Turkish spindle because it makes such a pretty ball of yarn if you wrap it properly.  I have yet to purchase a wheel, but that will come in due time. In the meantime, I'm committed my spindles. I even made a 2 ply using the Turkish spindle, pulling from the inside and outside. I feel so accomplished. I look forward to more of your videos

One of the best long drive videos I have ever seen thank you so much.

Thank yout so much. Now i understand what i did do wrong all the time when i tryed to spin long draw. No it works perfect. Pinch, draw out, pinch draw out...... i´m happy. Greetings from Germany🙂

Excellent video, I've seen many about long draw but now I think I understand. I'ts also very informative, thank you!

Thank you, Rachel.  This came at a perfect time for me. One of the skills I want to learn this year.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. It was so clear and informative.

This is the best tutorial on long draw I have seen. Long draw is fun, but my finished product, even after plying, is too rustic for me. I hope to improve enough to where I no longer feel that way. I have two wheels:  a Schacht Matchless and my starter wheel, an Ashford Joy, both double treadle. Thank you so much for creating and uploading this video.

I was having a bit of trouble finding my spinning niche till I saw your video and now I've come to the conclusion that long draw is my thing.

I'm handicapped and found out fiber work is very therapeutic and for you to make it more enjoyable for me just Thrills with me. I'd love to talk to you in a p.m. if we ever could sometime.

Oh I have to say my husband is happy with my better attitude because of your instruction as well. Lol.. thank you

I'm giving long draw a try tomorrow ... thanks to you!

Thank you so much for this! Off to try long draw again... better armed with your excellent instruction this time! ☺️

Very helpful video!
