Love the scene where George C. Scott's character stumbles , falls, rolls, recovers as if nothing happened. Real blooper kept in the original film because it was so hilarius.

I think this was Kubrick's greatest film. It's my favorite anyway.

This confirms what a genius Peter Sellers was.

Mind blowing to think Kubrick made Spartacus four years before Strangelove and 2001 four years afterwards. Such an incredibly unique genius, we were so lucky to have him on this planet.
Thanks for this fantastic mini-doc.

I was in the service in 1964 when this was released. We had movie nights on the base but this was not allowed to be shown on the base. Well I saw it in town and loved it. I'm in my 80s now and have seen it so many times , I know all the lines in it. With the world armed with thousands of nuclear weapons it's time to be sure that we don't have a "mine shaft gap". "Mine fuhrer I can walk"

This is a timeless classic. I can't say how many times I've watched it? Sellers was brilliant in every character. Many thanks for featuring it on your channel.

Anything Sellers put his time and effort into is worth watching.

You know, to this day, I don't really know what Peter Sellers sounded like. 😄

Dr. Strangelove was Ronald Reagan's favorite movie and he allegedly asked the Secret Service to show him the War Room shortly after becoming President, to which the Secret Service agents had to sheepishly tell him that the War Room wasn't a real thing.

I watched this movie for the first time while on assignment in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Incredible film.

Peter Sellers launches into Michael Caine mid sentence....😂

I had to wait 27 years for this film. It was worth the wait.

Thank you , amazing…just when you think you have seen all the Kubrick material on Strangelove, this is crammed full of gold. Superb.

Either they don't make films like this anymore - or I haven't heard of it. Peter Sellers, Stanley Kubrick, and Dr. Strangelove - all one of a kind - or Sellers were so many of a kind.
