All 9 Alien movies. One ranking. Which film deserves the top spot? 👽

This week on Slasher Sunday, I’m ranking the entire Alien film franchise from worst to best including Prometheus, Alien: Covenant, Alien: Romulus, and both Alien vs. Predator movies.

From the original nightmare aboard the Nostromo to the franchise’s biggest swings, I’m breaking down what works, what doesn’t, and where each movie lands on my list.

Drop YOUR ranking in the comments! Is Alien or Aliens your number one or does another entry deserve more love?

⚠️ Spoilers for all 9 films.

In space, no one can hear you argue about my ranking… 😂 But the comments are fair game!

Drop YOUR Alien ranking from worst to best below! Which movie did I put too low and which did I give too much credit?

Thanks for watching another Slasher Sunday!

These intros are legitimately their own films

You’ll never be able to convince me that the alien hybrid in Resurrection isn’t a rejected Pumpkinhead prototype they found outside Stan Winston’s shop.

You kick off my weekend with Failed Friday and wrap it up with Slasher Sunday. 🙌🏽

And alien Romulus is the only movie too that shows the cocoon of the xenomorph pop out instead of seeing part's of skin on the other movies that what made me happy because I always wondered how after the chestburster looks like then it comes out the cocoon

15:56 same man. People forget that all that shit is just add-ons after the first film. First Predator on its own is so much better than fleshing out their species and showing is their culture. It's just anthropomorphising the predator which was just a movie monster and a sci-fi slasher villain originally.

I was just saying to myself, "I need to get on YouTube real quick and see if that guy has another slasher ranking" and here it is. Great channel and content man.

Great video once again!

The predator been teaming up with humans in the comics way before the AVP movies

Agree 100% making the predators have “humanity” makes them less interesting, scary, and mysterious. Great list, both Alien and Aliens can interchange for me, love them both.

Instant thumbs up for the intro.

Alien 3 is difficult to place because there was so much potentia, and you can see crumbs of it, but literally every single piece of potential it had was absolutely trashed in one way or another. At least it had xenomorphs so I'd place it above Prometheus as well.

Great list yet again. Aliens is the gold standard of what a sequel should be and the fact James Cameron did it twice alongside T2 is just legendary

Predator badlands was dope

The two that pissed me off the most are Requiem and Alien 3. But at least Alien 3 was competently filmed. I couldn’t believe they let Requiem go into theaters with those pitch black scenes

Whew! My carnage candy drinking game didn’t almost kill me this week, 4 shots in less than 30 minutes isn’t so bad. Got alcohol poisoning a week or two ago. 😅

Resurrection is the first Alien movie I saw as a kid. I loved it then and I still love it lol but the first two movies are Cinema.

@deathscythe6682 10 hours ago

Your ranking: solid. Hardly a single note to add. You make your arguments fair and even. I’d argue against 3 being that low but the effects are rough so I get it.

Mike! I loved the intro; I think you make the best intros out of all horror movie rankers on YouTube🤣😂
Thanks for doing another Slasher Sunday for alien; it helps me figure out which alien movies to watch in order, soon! I can't wait to see what movie you'll do next Sunday!
