Thank you for all the good comments. I was in the front rank of the second Platoon and still serving now. The Guards Depot was a place of solid traditons, no-nonsense training and a foundation of pride to all that passed through those hallowed gates. Nulli Secundus!

Wow, guardsmen who are tall and slim and know how to do drill properly.  Their No.2s actually fit and they slide their feet during slow March instead of goose stepping.  This must be from another decade.

Yes 1964 here, this pass out just as good. Understatement to say the guardsmen these days, 2025, are real guardsmen! They had better be much improved, not failures going into combat in 2025
