After 6 long years the train from North Korea to China has opened again! So of course we had to experience it. The train travels from Pyongyang to Beijing and stops at the Dandong border which is where we will join the journey. Little did we know this was to be a BRUTAL journey!

the stuff that you thought was from NK was probably from SK because there is written 한국식 떡 which is korean style tteok (or mochi in japanese) and only south korean would name it like that. There is no way north koreans would ever name it 한국식, because north koreans call themselves 조선 imstead of 한국

Your experience on the “North Korean Express” reminded me of the trip I took on it from Harbin to Dandong back in 2019. Except, instead of dealing with roommates snoring, my room had a family who spent literally all night answering various phone calls - on speaker no less - and shouting at whoever was on the other side. Maybe got 45 minutes of sleep. This was a great trip down memory lane!

honestly them dumping bills on that mummy warms my heart, its basically Chinese people showing love and deference to the honoured dead. Yes its good luck, but they wouldnt bother if there wasnt a sense of belief and hope for a good afterlife to those whom have long past even if they are from eons ago in another culture.

When I travel with one of my mates and we share a room it's like trying sleep in a zoo. I know you said you were wearing ear plugs but have you ever tried Mack's silicone ear plugs before? They don't cancel out the noise completely but they are a lot better than conventional ear plugs as you mould them into your ear canal.

In China either get a cabin to yourself or go hard sleeper where everyone snores and so it becomes white noise.

When this happens sleep in the corridor.

Bloody hell, took me a while to understand why are you back in that border town after I watched you almost miss a train in Beijing. Not being able to find that video on this channel got me confused and then I realized it was on Cat's channel😅 You guys should sync your releases!

From India to China you both have had some bizarre train experiences. That snoring was tough to deal with just watching the video. The things you guys endure for your channel viewers are extraordinary. At least you had some North Korean sweets to turn that frown upside down. 😋
