In this wild camping adventure, I’m testing one of the strangest (and funniest!) bits of camping gear I’ve ever tried — a sleeping bag suit! 🏕️

With temperatures dropping to 5ºC, I put this wearable sleeping bag through its paces to see if it’s actually practical for cold weather camping, or just a total gimmick. Can it really keep you warm and comfortable all night? Or will it end in frozen toes and regrets? Let’s find out! 😅

This was such a fun little wild camp gear test, and a reminder that camping is all about experimenting, staying curious, and having a laugh along the way.

Just a reminder for when you're cooking, Katie—many high-tech fabrics are highly flammable or can melt when exposed to heat, so be extra careful around the stove! Also, to keep your gas base steady, try propping it up with some rocks or digging a small hole in the ground for support, and always store your gas outside the tent.

I noticed before that boots can get wet or ice over out there. To fix this, you could use a small bag, or even better, a groundsheet with pockets for stones and eyelets to peg it down outside.

In fact, you could probably make and sell branded boot covers with your name and symbol on your site as a side hustle

I like that you don’t have to climb out the bag to sit out the tent I would just use it for low activity tasks cooking etc not active tasks as it looks sweaty.
