Is Bali still the ultimate digital nomad paradise in 2026, or has over-tourism, rising costs, and new visa regulations ruined the experience? To find out, I spent 5 days living and working out of a coliving space in Ubud, Bali—testing the WiFi, community, lifestyle, and overall remote work setup.

In This Video:
Coliving Setup: Testing workspace ergonomics, high-speed WiFi, and community events.
Ubud Lifestyle: Balancing full-time remote work with exploring Bali’s culture and nature.
Community: Interviewing other digital nomads and attending community activities.

Is Bali still a Remote Workers' Paradise?

@bevetravels 1 month ago

Fair points in the video. As a local, I’d say: Bali is definitely worth it, but only if you manage your expectations. The traffic is real, and the island is adapting. If you decide to come, just make sure to do it legally with the proper visa, drive safely, and enjoy the beautiful culture we have to offer. Safe travels!

Oh wow, it’s been a long time since I last visited your channel after you left Korea.
The algorithm suddenly brought you back to me today — feels like finding a long‑lost friend.
Hope you enjoy Indonesia, and I won’t lose track of your channel again :)
BTW, Bali seems so “cool" while Seoul is (literally) so “hot” these days !

Don't forget to try out Southeast Asia's first and premier high-speed train—the Jakarta-Bandung line—which reaches speeds of 350 km/h; you can board it at Halim Station in Jakarta. Bandung is a major city—vast, spacious, and cool—with fantastic spots to explore. You really should experience strolling along Braga Street in the late afternoon—it’s beautiful, cool, and pleasant. Also, check out the malls, visit Lembang for the tea plantations and boat rides, and stop by Dusun Bambu. Bandung is a fantastic, comfortable destination that is definitely worth experiencing.....
