Totally agree with history getting taken out of context and being turned into "cancellable behavior"

Praise the Lord for his great Catholic Church

I appreciate you clarifying this Columbus criticism because i always wondered what exactly made people suddenly change their opinion. Only history scholars and old documents can really tell us what’s true and I don’t know how to access Columbus’s old journals so I couldn’t read about it myself to clarity what exactly it says. This is how i filter my way through all the ridiculous accusations of this day and age to find the actual truth. I had suspected for some time that this shift in history was not as drastic as they make it seem

Well done. The retelling of history to fit ones narrative is so sad. Thank you.

When I was growing up our Protestant friends and neighbours were frightened or scared of the Catholic Church and the Catholic Faith. The things we did at Mass, what we prayed for and who we prayed to were gossip. Lies last a very long time, and untrue stories are changed even worse throughout history. Our parents encouraged us to play with other Catholics, stay away from those who believed and spread lies. I believe what you say, (I’m not 1500 years old) but I’m not sure people realize the harm they caused or even the pain they caused. 😊

Would love to see a historical apology regarding the La Florida martyrs and Saint Augustine FL as the capital of the free state of Florida, which celebrated the first Thanksgiving almost a hundred years before the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock.

Good show, brothers.

Leif Erikson, torn between his mother’s Christian faith and his father’s pagan beliefs, embodied the conflict of their age. He respected his mother’s beliefs but also felt a connection to his father’s gods.
Leif’s journey to Vinland was influenced by both religious traditions. He prayed to the Christian God for guidance and protection but also invoked the Norse gods for strength and courage.

Conrad Black wrote a book called Rise to Greatness: A History of Canada quotes there were only an estimated 250,000 indigenous people across the WHOLE of North America. The idea Catholic "settlers" slaughtered masses of people upon landing is just false. Good job, Ryan.

The beautiful statue in Columbus, Ohio was taken down and remains out of sight. ….and worst of all, it was a gift , as I believe, from the people of Genoa, Italy…isn’t that, the epitome of bad manners?!?!? Thank you for clearing that up🩷
