The Pointer Sisters are amazing with a rich music history. They stamped the 70s and 80s with their soul, funk, disco, pop, blues, jazz, and even bebop and country music songs. They did a series of funky counting songs for Sesame Street. Teaching kids how to count and be funky at the same time.
They have a slew of hits to choose from. You can't go wrong with this much-loved and iconic group.

They’re awesome! Several other really great hits.

The Pointer SIsters were FIRE !

Alright Lynn, great request.  I always loved this song, and love the Pointer Sisters!

my absolute favourites are "slow hand" and "he's so shy" - bangers!

The Pointer Sisters have some of the most beautiful harmonies. If you liked this one, you have to
do their song "Slow Hand".

In the 1976 movie "Car Wash", when the sisters hit you with "You Gotta Believe"...even my athiest heart became a Baptist congregant for the duration of that song :face-blue-smiling:

Okay for a second, I got worried when I saw it was going to be live with raw vocals.  But I had no reason to be, because that was pure Fire.

So glad you too have discovered the Pointer Sisters. I fell in love with them. Still. And I have never seen this. Thanks, it was FIRE.

I love the Pointer Sisters!  This whole concert is good.

Love all Pointer Sister phases:
—Four sisters jazz/soul/honky-tonk early 70s
—Grammy Best Country Vocal 1975
—Late 70s through 80s power trio

Love  the Pointer Sisters!! Next Up Listen to JUMP - For My Love  and Automatic  both Huge Hits in 1984!!
