Thank you Linkin Park for allowing Nene to have a chance to show her talent with you. You are so generous

When Nene began singing “The Emptiness Machine,” it was already an incredible moment for a 16-year-old girl standing as the frontman alongside a legendary band like Linkin Park.

But the most outstanding, coolest moment came when Nene took the microphone in her hand, stepped slightly forward, and sang that part of the song with such deep emotion. She truly connected with the meaning of the lyrics, pouring her feelings into every note and pushing her voice higher with that subtle, beautifully gritty edge.

That was, without a doubt, one of the best moments of Nene’s vocal performance.

Just imagine how much confidence and courage it must have taken to stand on stage and sing alongside Linkin Park without her legs shaking, without hesitation, and without losing focus or making a mistake. And then, on top of that, she had the courage to take the microphone, step forward, and own the front of the stage during her part of the performance.

For an ordinary 16-year-old, the pressure alone might have been overwhelming. Some might have been too nervous to even take a single step away from where they were supposed to stand.

But Nene did it.

She didn’t just stand there and sing. She stepped forward, felt the song, owned the moment, and performed alongside one of the most legendary rock bands in the world.

That was truly a phenomenon.

Nene. 🎶🎸🔥🤘❤️

They had 3 mins of rehearsal. That was it.

At just 16 years old, sharing the stage with legendary artists, she did an amazing job!.

From the reporting and information given by her father, they only actually rehearsed for 3 minutes, with a single run through of it. Shinoda gave her one tip about her pitch during the chorus, and that was all she needed to do this. As LP was asked last minute to perform with her. She met them the night of, and they had very little time at all before the performance given how tightly scheduled AGT is behind the scenes.

I didn't know Emily before this show and I was stunned, I don't know how many hours of LP live performances I've consumed since then. This is my favorite version of this song in particular.

In my opinion, this was easily Nene’s best performance of all her AGT appearances. This was more than just a display of her abilities, but she showed a level of maturity and professionalism which is so far beyond her years. Standing front and center, turning to acknowledge Emily, then to the other side to acknowledge Mike while singing. She never stops finding ways to amaze me.

nene, the confidence to walk out singing center stage backed  by linkin park amazing , she fits herself in with any group

It is an honor for Nene to share the stage with a legendary rock band like Linkin Park ❤. Now I’m a Linkin Park fan. They’re nice 🥰

In the LP interview, they said, “We never thought we would perform this song with somebody.”

That’s what makes this moment with Nene even more special. 🎉🎸

Rock world is so warm! Thanks to LP for giving Nene such an honor and heartwarming embrace. Beyond their amazing vocals and music, the energy and vibe between them were beautiful and warm. What a truly memorable performance.

I think the same about the song choice. It is quite emotional when I realized it that this is the song where Emily was introduced as a part of the band. So so incredible both Emily and Nene.

She captures the essence of Linkin Park very well.

**I have always LOVE Emily's voice and Nene fits right in like she's been with the band for ages**   **Nene only has three minutes to rehears with LP and she nailed it**   **THE SMILES ON MIKE FACE ACTUALLY SAID IT ALL**   **I LOVE Emily for supporting Nene like big sister does**   **At first LP wasn't even sure if they wanted to perform this song, but they ended up doing it & delivered a TRULY LOVELY performance**
**Later, during the group interview for their opening documentary movie, everyone agreed that Nene is incredibly easy to work with**   **Emily even said "Nene is very professional and had her S**T down quickly**

Nene is living my teen fantasy. When I was her age, it was during Linkin Park’s Meteora era and I looked up so much to this band (RIP Chester). I think 15 yr old me would have died, no way I would be as composed as her singing with such huge band. She’s so awesome and talented!!

"The Emptiness Machine" was the debut song that introduced Emily as the new lead singer in 2024, so Nene having the honor of singing it serves as an introduction to the world for her as well—and Emily must surely feel proud. That’s how I see it.

Her dad said in a live that they did maybe a 5 minute run through and then off to the stage. Emily also said that it was a last minute decision and Nene was very professional and had her shit down, she was very easy to work with. That is impressive.

After listening to it, I feel this version is far more powerful than the original. Nene kicks things off in a thrilling manner before handing the baton to Emily, who unleashes her pent-up energy to the fullest—perhaps because she had to pick up the high notes from Nene.

As a Thai LP fan, Emily is absolutely Linkin Park, and Nene, she is building her own legacy. Like them both!!!
